As a Niners fan y'all are getting a great receiver. Don't listen to what others might tell you because no wide receiver stood a chance in SF. I've seen Torrey burn a ton of corners and the Qb (whether it's Gabbert or Kaepernick) will either not see him or under/over throw the ball to him. Watch Blaine Gabbert's interception against the Cowboys. Torrey burned Claiborne for an easy TD and the ball was completely under thrown. I'm also rooting for you guys because fuck the Cowboys....plus I like Wentz

I honestly think that Matthews, Agholor, and DGB will take a step forward. They're all very young players that still have potential
Hopefully wrs usually take awhile to get adjusted to the league with a few exceptions the past couple years. It took Vincent Jackson someone who you can compare DGB to due to mostly height 3 years for a 1000 yard season and same for jordy nelson.
See but in today's NFL if you don't perform in year one (usually in a new system with new coaches) you get cut, traded, or considered a busy
Yeah but hell even brandon graham was considered a bust for the longest and was put down like agholar and marcus smith and look at him now one of the best in the league. And lowkey Smith had a decent year last year.
Gregory Brown I think jmatt will eventually, dgb I'm not so sure about since he doesn't seem to practice and put the time in. dgb just needs to learn some new routes. all he did last season were slants. he could also practice not dropping as well. i hope Agholor takes a step forward cause deep threats like him are always good. Torrey Smith is a speedy reciever who can be a deep threat, but having two we could rotate in and out would be great.

The Eagles offense has a lot of potential with the added talent acquired this offseason.
Can't wait to see Alshon, Torrey and Legarret at RB.
They all have vet experience and have succeeded in the NFL.
JMatt Ertz and Sproles are also very solid starters as well.
They have an O line, capable of protecting the QB, with excellent depth.
Wentz will have had his first full offseason and Training camp as the undisputed starter.
I think for all of these reasons, Wentz and the Eagles are going to have a great year.

Torrey Smith is a class act, and a great personality to have in the locker room, but Eagles fans need to be aware that he's not a #1 receiver.
His hands are stone sometimes, he barely gets separation, he doesn't fight for the ball in the air, and his route running is absolutely flawed. Speed is about the only confirmed positive that you'll get from him. The rest is up in the air.

As a Ravens fan, Torrey needs to be utilized as a deep threat, he isn't a great route runner nor has great hands or the quickness to be use in the screen game but his speed can roll safety coverage and generate big plays once in a while, it's good the eagles have guys like Jeffery and Matthews who bring complimentary skillsets

Wentz in his second season paired up with a solid group of WR's and a deep and talented O-line, this team can be an offensive power in the NFC.
If they can get the defense back on track and playing at a high level, the skies the limit.
Now that Howie is back in charge of acquiring good players both in FA and working the trade market, the Eagles can get back on track to playoff caliber Football.
With what Howie did in the Foles to LA, then Bradford to Philly, then Bradford to Minny, then Foles to Kansas City
and now he returns full circle back to the Eagles, netting a potential Top QB in Wentz and getting back their first round pick for Bradford?!?!?!?! LMAO

Torrey smith in Baltimore was DUMB HARD. He fell off a lot In San Fran but even as a cowboys fan I hope he can revive his career in philly
"dumb hard"? he was inconsistent, couldn't run routes, and was only good at catching deep passes....

two of those years he had Anquan Boldin who's arguably a HOF if he had a ring who gathered a lot of attention. and it doesn't matter if you can't run routes as good as other receivers. if he's asked to be a burner and spread the field then that's what he's asked to do. his best years were in Baltimore. I'm not saying in BAL he was a top 10 WR but he was the best #2 option undoubtedly. desean Jackson only runs deep 90% of the time but we aren't saying he's not dumb hard.

You don't need a first round RB to win a chip. It's way harder to find a CB gem in the later rounds then a RB gem... Superbowl winning teams have elite corners...
CB is the second hardest position in the NFL every team needs a corner if the eagles don't take 1 in the 1st there's gnna be a early run on them late 1st round going into 2nd and will miss out on the top talented ones, you can always find a RB rd 2-3 but Ryan Mathews is still here and Jalen Mills and CJ smith can't be the starts in 17 so we should go CB definitely White from LSU pair him back up with mills a defensive guy that loves football
Jalen could probably start, and we take White from LSU in the 1st. Then we'd get Perrine, Kamara, Mixon, or hopefully McCaffrey can slip into the 2nd round. Mathews can't stay, he can't stay healthy. It's Sproles' last year, and I like what Smallwood and Kenjon have shown us recently

He was never a fit with the niners, didn't fit karpernicks throwing style and nobody fits with gabbert. He should do really well in philly. He's no number 1, he will really frustrate you at times when he totally fails to locate or attack the ball, but he will bring a lot of big plays with the right squad. Ravens fan here.
