Yes I always use half a sponge, I find it easier as it fits better in the creases round the eyes and nose.

I love this design. I hope to go into the face painting business professionally at this theme park because just the thought of making children happy as i was when i was a child getting my face done makes it less of a job but of a happy skill. I have some skill but i want to expand my horizon and your videos truly are simple and easy to get started with. Please recommend your brands of paints, brushes, and glitter for face painting. You can do if you find it easier, I just prefer one at a time as I have more control over the smaller tip of the sponge. Whatever works for you x
