- Destiny 2's Lore and Story from the Warlord's Ruin dungeon tells us about how a cult of Scorn began to worship the bones of the Ahamkara Hefnd. This was the result of the last wish of the Warlord Naeem, who wished ruin upon the House of Kings that had come to kill her. From their ashes, The Dragon Cult would rise.

I am loving the support here. It just comes to show that while things at Bungie are a hot mess, the community remains as tightly knit as ever.
For many, but there are many who are not. Just like upper management is making Bungie look bad, the bad eggs in the community does the same for us.
Whenever "The Community" comes up in the Fireteam chat, it's usually not a positive vibe. The toxic people in this game make it hard to be proud of "The Community".

Though I do miss Byf's eloquent voice, I'm loving these voiceovers by other youtubers. I never thought I'd see the day where Datto gives a Destiny lore breakdown. This is awesome!

This is incredible to see such support rallying around Byf while he’s on the mend. It just goes to show that even when our studio and game are on the ropes, this community grows tighter, and I completely love it.

Naeem's tale is definitely a pretty tragic one. She wanted to redeem herself by using wish magic to benefit others and taking the toll on herself. She even manages to befriend the Ahamkara. There relationship was mutually beneficial, after all. Then all of the good she did, led to the ruin of her and the ones she wished to help. Hefnd was more than willing to grant Naeem's last wish and he took great pleasure in destroying the Kings.
Despite being mischievous, and preying on desires are the nature of Ahamakara, and they are seemingly the most truly neutral of Destiny‘s characters, no good can come from their wishes. Even if you have good intentions. The road to hell is paved with them. If the Ahamkara really do return, we may have to slaughter them all again in a second hunt. Though, our Coalition allies will be a great boon in making the second hunt easier, enemies like Savathun, Fikrul, and maybe even Clovis if he wishes it, can lead to greater obstacles. We may also have to hunt the remaining Worm Gods down to lessen the Hive’s numbers. Without them, the Hive will dwindle from billons, to thousands. Still an easier quantity to deal with. This would certainly be the next step, in weakening Xivu before retaking Torobaital.

I'm confused on how she lost her life fully because with her ghost she should have keeped fight, tho now that I think about it the paracausal wish magic would have probably had a hand in it.

Bro I shoutout to everyone helping out Byf get these out. I genuinely believe when he returns Byf should continue to allow people to do these for him. Of course dont make it every video but every once in a while bring someone in who is just as passionate about this community as Byf is.

Datto giving a lore breakdown is something I never thought I'd experience and I love it. I am loving how the Destiny community came together to help one of the Lore Masters in his time of need. Wanting to add to the chorus that Datto killed it by being his self with the delivery here. I loved Fallout trying to match the cadence and I loved his "My name has been Fallout - per audacia ad astra" but I think Datto crushed it here more than anyone else. I'd love to hear them all do more episodes

*The HOUSE OF KINGS IS STILL ALIVE!!* Reduced in power and weakened, yes, but NOWHERE in the Lore does it say they are extinct. Quite the opposite in fact, Destinypedia states the following,

House of Kings was done dirty in Forsaken. Variks too. So much potential and setup undone in an instant. Can you imagine how cool it would be to fight Punished House of Kings who wield Hive Magic?

I'm surprised those Kings banners were left alone when the Red War happened. During that time when all of the other weekend Fallen houses decided to burn their previous house banners then unite/come together to form the House of Dusk. Although it really was the King's idea to form the new house of Dusk.
