Top Gun: Maverick is an upcoming American action drama film directed by Joseph Kosinski from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger, Eric Warren Singer, and Christopher McQuarrie and a story by Peter Craig and Justin Marks. It is the sequel to 1986's Top Gun. The film stars Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Ed Harris, and Val Kilmer. Cruise and Kilmer reprise their roles from the first film.
Top Gun: Maverick is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States and Canada on July 2, 2021, by Paramount Pictures. It will also be available to stream on Paramount+ 45 days after its theatrical debut. It was originally scheduled for release on July 12, 2019 but was postponed to "allow the production to work out all the complex flight sequences" The release was then delayed further due to the COVID-19 pandemic and scheduling conflicts
Pete "Maverick" Mitchell keeps pushing the envelope after years of service as one of the Navy's top aviators. He must soon confront the past while training a new squad of graduates for a dangerous mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice.

When I was in the 6th grade I saw the F14 and decided I wanted to be a fighter pilot. Needles to say that dream went unfulfilled. But 24 years later, at the age of 35, I purchased a 2005 Suzuki GSX-R1000 black and yellow, and that was the closest thing to flying a jet I will ever experience. Had a bad accident in 2006 and a Severe Brachial Plexus Injury left my left arm paralyzed and left me with chronic pain for life. But riding on top of all that power and feeling like me and the bike were one, just made me feel like a bird flying free. I know I got off track but just demonstrating how one dream can be substituted with another. If that makes sense! 🤔 ✨🏍️🌃May the Force be with you "Maverick." 🥀R.I.P Goose🥀
