Robert Hooke - The Forgotten Genius

Two scientists, both alike in dignity, In fair London, where we lay our scene.. The birth of the scientific movement in the United Kingdom was a drama comparable to the one written by The Bard.
Our two scientists are Robert Hooke and Isaac Newton. Both brilliant and yet very different. Where Newton could see the universe through maths and formulas, Hooke understood its practical details.
Their rivalry could be turned into a 10-episode epic feud series, but we haven't got that kind of money. So instead, here's a short intro into the life of Hooke focusing on one of his creations, a sophisticated instrument right in the heart of London.

...I was doing a project for physic on the microscop, and I decided to mark 2 people the first who invented and him...when I searched pictures of him I found this portrait and I got mesmarised.... there is so much character on that face that I just couldn't let it go and I made it my block screen background...and after a little search it lead me to here...this explains a little the look on his face

I don't think so Robert Hooke is forgotten. He is well known in Science or in Biology. At early educational years, Robert Hooke is already being introduced to the students. As a Biology major, we also talked about his life and works. But, great video
