Abandoned mine and Caernarfon Castle wild camp.

- So as i was leaving the beautiful camp site I had previously stayed at I noticed an old abandoned mine shaft as i was retrieving my camera from trying to do an arty shot. Being the brave wuss that I am I went in for a nosey.
I then hit the road with no direction and ended up in the beautiful walled Castle town of Caernarfon and found an amazing park up for the evening right next to the Marina and the Castle where I was treated to an amazing sunset.
North Wales is truly stunning and I recommend everyone to go exploring there.
Lakes, Mountains, Castles and heaps of history and beautiful towns, what more could you ask for.
Wow Shane you're braver than me.....looked nice. Would love to see what's at the other end 😁
Not that brave Dawn or I'd have kept on going in lol. I do plan on going again though with a bigger torch next time as I'd love to see where it leads too 😁

That sunset was amazing and it was a great spot to chill, so peaceful and quiet.

I might do one day, I'm not the best at organization though lol. I'd probably set one up and then forget to turn up knowing me, I'm renowned for my shoddy memory and time keeping lol. Probably too many hobgoblins 😂😂

You'd be surprised how many people do that, when I worked at the airport had countless people turn up either early or late. I'm sure you had a good time though even with crappy weather.
