Could tell Phil and Ravi definitely have respect for each other since they were allies in prison. Hence they never really went at it. This scene surprisingly didn't escalate any further.

If Nish is the person dead on Xmas, which my confidence in that belief grows all the time, then it's going to be fun watching him for the next seven months upset basically the whole square. Don't think he'll play nice with Phil for too much longer either. He's definitely the sort to have Phil worked over by some people if he keeps poking his nose in & I'd like to see it happen tbh because it's always Phil that the show have calling up some heavies to do some of his dirty work for him, they never allow his enemies to call them in on him.
I feel like it's being set up to be either Nish or Ravi dead at Xmas. Will have to see what escalates with other characters, specifically the new ones owning the vic soon. But it'll likely be one of them two.
Always wonder where Phil gets his back up from. His main henchmen day to day are Billy and Jay!

EastEnders has been less all white hardman recently with Vincent and now Ravi, has been a breath of fresh air
Vincent? He’s been dead for 5 years. I do agree though that it’s cool to see some diversity in the hardman rankings.
This is what I expect from Phil and Ravi just confrontations but won't lead to any fights and I don't mind that personally as they both don't lose respect from the viewers i think Nish is the bigger problem anyways no doubt Phil will end up lamping him one though
I think if the writers accept that Phil just isn’t what he is anymore, that Ravi would end up winning if they fought.

I was buzzing watching this to finally see them have a bit of beef.
I like Nishs character tbh I wish kheerat was still in it so he could get involved in the schemes with Ravi and Nish. I thought Kheerat was going to be more rough when he first come but turned out to be average. Ravi needs to beat the shit out of Phil aswell as you can see Phil don’t really want to be involved but he got no choice. Also, how old is Nish must be in his 60s ?
One man who would have stood up to Ravi and never been scared of him would be Francis Aloysius Butcher. Frank was totally fearless. He would have torn Ravi off a strip as well and Ravi would have taken it probably.

@@Uksoapfan Dan Zappieri was pretty wimpy for someone his size. He didn’t do anything when Phil grabbed him and ran out of the vic when Grant shouted at him to get out. I do agree about Den though, he would’ve stood right in front of Ravi and Nish like Phil did here.
@@Uksoapfan Tom Banks is another one who most likely would’ve stood up to Ravi. He wasn’t a hardman but he didn’t seem scared of anyone either.
@@H.K.5 I think Ravi would stand up to current Grant as well, and maybe prime Grant. I think Ravi would probably give an older current Grant now a good fight.
I think what they should do is have phil v ravi one on one phil loses ( like he did to vincent 2015) then ravi is the man being cocky pushing his luck etc to phil they have another fight phil wins to show he's aging but still the man! Phils had a few fights lately and clearly still has it! You don't forget how to fight or land a punch where it hurts. He's also not mellowed etc i believe despite his health he still is a threat! I mean you wouldn't start a fight with butterbean (ex boxer)

I wouldn't say strength and skill have Nish over Phil. Ravi is a different story. But if we do this tier list individually. Nish and Phil might be quite close.

but he's never murdered anyone like Ravi and Nish has hell Nish murdered a man just because he thought his wife might be sleeping with him so he'd definitely kill someone like Phil without a second thought.
whereas Phil couldn't even bring himself to kill his rapist uncle.

If i remember correctly the Mitchells also arranged to have Keanu killed and i don’t remember Phil shedding any tears when he thought it was done
