Did we ever think back then that we would be watching these commercials on smartphones in the future? It’s like a time machine culture shock! I guess that makes us time travelers.
The 80's were epic for me. I turned 13 in October of 1980. Then I got my first car......a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. It didn't swing...lol. it was a slow 🐌 tank. But it was my first car. My first "cool" car was a 1972 Dodge Charger. Then a 1969 Hurst Olds 442. The 80's were an amazing time. From puberty to high school, to cars, to girls, to rock concerts from 1983 to 1994. I got to see some unbelievably talented bands. At the top is Pink Floyd at Milwaukee County Stadium. I also saw Mötley Crüe in concert at least 15 times. Metallica, 3rd row at the Marcus Amphitheater during Summerfest. Guns n Roses opening for Aerosmith at the Alpine Valley Amphitheater in East Troy, Wisconsin. One of my first ever concerts was Twisted Sister opening for Iron Maiden! Iron Maiden was INCREDIBLE! I also was lucky enough to see Ronnie James Dio as well. One show that also stuck with me was a 3-band show at the Eagle's Club in Milwaukee. It was a general admission show, no seats. The bands who played was W.A.S.P. , Armored Saint, & Metallica. Metallica's bassist Cliff Burton hadn't been in the accident that tragically took his life far too soon!!!!! When he played the song from Kill Em` All, Anesthesia Pulling Teeth, Bass Solo Take One. He blew the roof off of the building! He was incredibly talented. That was before Metallica become lawsuit happy. The 80's were some of the most incredibly fun times I ever had. The 70's was my childhood growing up and the 80's, they were my youth becoming an "adult".....sort of.....lol.

No, by the period in these that concern was passé. After the atmospheric test ban, such contamination declined rapidly, and by the 1980s was nearly forgotten.
Watching these is more enjoyable than actual TV programs today.😂😓

The little girl in the bathtub actually shocked me. They would never have that in a commercial today.

Those arent commercials. That's educational programming.
I loved the Go-Bots when I was a kid. But my brother and I had a hard time figuring out who was good or bad.
Which is kinda why Transformers trounced them in popularity. 1, better designed, 2, they had insignias that told you who was a good / bad guy
