I agree 1000%! I also wish the food still tasted like it used to back then instead of how it does nowadays. Ugh! It honestly seems as though everything was better back then! Movies, television shows, movies, sports broadcasts like Monday Night Football and the NFL Today. The 70's were just better in every way.

Also, I had a feeling that Holidays candies ad was from The Muppet Family Christmas! That one is embedded in my head.
Feeling nostalgic, watching this in the final minutes of New Year's Day. The holidays are officially over. It's sad, but there's plenty to look forward to in 2021 🤞

☹️ It is so truly sad to see them stop playing all these Christmas specials like this, well it is sad. To me there is no reason for it.
I wish they continue to play all these Christmas specials again like it used to be.
It seems like ever since the year 2000 came everything stopped, it's like everything went downhill.

The people who work in advertising and Television today grew up like the rest of us in the 1970s and 1980s with all the wonderful holiday commercials and holiday specials.
Why aren't they keeping the tradition going?

Do you have access to any Christmas commercials from the Norfolk/Hampton, Virginia area, 1979-1984? I was in a Christmas commercial for Coliseum Mall when I was in 2nd grade, and it ran for a few years. Sure would love to show my kids
