Bobby Lee has been my favorite comedian since MadTV but his first H3 visit is where I found Tigerbelly and ever since I have seen every episode, the heavy hitters 3-5 times, and every podcast that has Bobby in it. It was fantastic to watch the family reunion, literally what I was doing right before coming to this episode

Every time I am looking through the comments while watching the pod or any video for that matter I always come across a comment that has a quote of the video and every time I read the quote or see it they say it in the video at the exact same time or a couple seconds later that just happened again and I’m here to report it because I think I am losing my mind.

Joker was alright. With everyone speaking so highly about it my expectations were high. Especially with police officers patrolling theaters I thought it'd be more violent. My opinion of the movie is that it started slow and ended fast.

I love h3 and tigerbelly. My all time favorite podcasts are congratulations (true baby here), H3 (papa bless) this past weekend, king and the sting, tigerbelly, JRE, and I enjoy fighter and the kid as well, although its hard to watch sometimes when there is a casket on screen the whole time.

She literally said it on h3. They haven't been intimate because of bobbys unisom addiction and he's finally getting help for it. He's also changed with his depression from the loss of his father and his emotional ups and downs with grieving and she has tried to be there for him but he wasn't trying to self help until now when he's going to therapy. Plus they've been discussing having kids a lot more now as soon she'll be too old to do so naturally and he knows that she doesn't want kids with him citing how he has "bad genes" and "so does her family" and how he basically "won't be a good dad" cause he's selfish (in his wants/time) and is immature... ie. Like how he whined and complained having to clean up the dogs vomit (which he caused) because it was late at night and she said he's not mature enough to clean dog vomit at 2am because he was too tired, how's he gonna gonna get up at 1am to change and feed a baby. I think his antics and her (from his perspective) b!tchiness is causing a rift in their private life and she's making it more and more public which is a sign when a person is just tired of it.
That crash was probably the funniest thing on their podcast so far lmao

I think the cinematic joy in Joker comes from looking deeper into WHY he is giving this narrative, because there are certainly parts he has imagined, but it is strongly hinted the entire thing is a fabrication by him to tell his Arkham psychologist. A casual movie goer isn't going to see or delve into this line of thinking.
It reminds me of Birdman- people would debate whether he jumped to his death at the end, missing the entire point that the entire last scene was his final death fantasy, making the popular debate a moot point.
And I think there's no joy in it... mostly a personal preference of the mood I want to get from movies, so not debating cinematic excellence, just what I want to get out of a movie. -PD

Movies exist to capture the broad range of emotions inherent to life, not to make you giggle for 2 and a half hours and feel one emotion then its over. Weird opinion.
@@TigerBelly I totally agree, but I was assuming he meant joy in the sense of enjoying the cinematic experience, rather than joy contained within the movie. It's a bit of a semantic thing.
Joker has at least 3 or 4 levels working- maybe more- and I consider that a joyful experience as an audience member, as opposed to the usual crap that even sucks as a 1 dimensional piece of garbage without even a story to tell.

It doesn't matter, though, because my point is that what makes it a wonderful experience to me is the multiple levels at work, and I think he was missing out on that part of the narrative...he took it at face value, and I think it's meant to be considered as a questionable narrative from an unreliable narrator.
@@jas137 But his problem with seeing it at face value stems from the fact he thinks there must be happy undertones even in dark movies. He says exactly that, /multiple times/ in the vid mate. His categorization of a dark movie about a supervillains origin story as "needing joy and happiness" is patently absurd, and is the reason why he couldnt see the deeper layers.
