I have the official audiobook for this story, so let me tell you: this is so much better. The narrator breathes so much life into this book that i almost cant go back to the original audiobook
I'm inclined to give this a proper shot; HOWEVER, the official narrator (Daniel Davis) was damned good - a notable improvement of Jonathan Davis (the defacto narrator of most SW books; mind you, I enjoy his storytelling as well).
I am so pumped for this one! Your what I fall asleep to most nights. 😊 My wife and I are newly sober from Heroin. I cannot express enough how much your readings helped us when we were going through withdrawal. Please don’t stop what your doing!

I bought this book a couple years back yet never read it. I have it put away, but knowing you're reading it makes me want to go get it to read along with you whenever you put these out. Here's a small bit of lore too. The Kaleesh is actually General Grievous's native species before he became a cyborg, and they are very cool looking

I'm thrilled to see you chose this book! I prefer stories centered on villains, since in my opinion the villains are the most interesting characters most of the time. I'm sure that bit about the transference will come into play later. It's clearly a checkov's gun.
This would be an amazing movie/series. I pick Tom hiddlestone or Matt smith as young palpatine and either Ian Mckellan or Mads Mikkelson as the voice of Plagueis with slight alterations
James Lucen, also writes the Canan book "Tarkin" book is good only 200-pages a mystery novel Tarkin is like Moriarty the villain of Sherlochomes, it is fun seeing how Tarkin, Darth Vader, and Emperor Palpatine solve the mystery some say it secretly ties this book Darth Plagueis to Canan the writer was sneaky.

Awe this brings me back. I started listening to this a year ago. Needless to say it started me on the pleasure of audiobooks and ive been listening to some kind of audiobook every day. The narrator does a good job and gives me some kind of feeling.
This audiobook is so much better than the original reading I’ve listened to. Ithis is my second time listening to your version. I love how you give each character their individual voices and personalities which makes keeping track of how you should feel about each character easier. Only thing that’s missing is the little music bits, like when Palpatine goes full dark-side on his family, the music brings an intensity to the scenes. But keep up the amazing work and thank you for doing such a great job for us all. We are fulcrum! 😆🙌🏼🙌🏼

My favorite one-off too. Bane, of course, is my favorite story. Good way to put it though; “favorite 1 off.” I never felt right not thinking of it as a favorite because it is so good. Nothing compares to the story of Darth Bane though.

I can't choose between Plagueis, the Bane Trilogy, and the Revenge of the Sith novelization as my favorite EU story. All 3 are pure gold & the audiobooks are amazing! That's actually the reading order I began reading the EU in. It was special!

New subscriber here, just burned through Death Trooper and really appreciate your narration skills. As a longtime reader of star wars novels, now considered legends material I guess, I'd like to recommend few. Entire republic commando series gives a great view on the inner workings of the clones lives and a large focus on their mandalorian instructors. If you're familiar with the KOTOR games, Revan is an absolute must. Darth Bane trilogy, and everything from the 'Vong war forward in chronology up until the end of Legends stories are all at a high level of story telling anyone can get behind. And this novel answetes so many questions people have about the movies, no spoilers. Cheers and blaze one up.
The book bringing up soul/spirit transfer might just be to tie into the fact that it was a huge factor of the Darth Bane books, and explain why it's no longer a factor here. Though ironically, Disney Canon has decided that the whole Rule of Two is a ploy to enable an unbroken chain of Sith Masters transferring to their successful Apprentices form Bane onwards until you get to Palpatine, which on one hand does explain why he's so powerful and skilled as to pull off all his crazy schemes and plots, but on the other, kinda ruins all other Rule of Two Sith as just being some where between Bane-plus or proto-Palpatine, rather than someone/something more unique.
So happy that you started to read this book, I have bought it but because I am studying for my exams that begin next week I haven't had the time to read it yet and I also won't be able to hear the next few parts when they come out, but I'm planning to start reading it in parallel with hearing your audiobook when I finish! Keep up the good work 💪

I'm currently listening to your death troopers adaptation while working. I have already listened to Darth Plagueis a couple times, but I'll definitely give a listen to this adaptation too as Darth Plagueis is one of my favorite legends novels.
