I understand that the bhangra is the spiritual successor to the dancer but to be honest the dancer looks a lot more fun. Anybody know why they stopped making it?
I still have my black loaded dancer, since 2011, longboarding around the streets of Rio de Janeiro... It's insane how much fun you can get from this, all those years!
I love Adam Stokowski's brown and pink Nikes! Was a sick transition in the music when you guys stated sliding down the hill. I have my dervish right now but I think I'm going to get a dancer just for, well, dancing!
these boards are so amazing just got turned on these from using a sector nine before, these boards are great on developing strong balance!! highly recommend skimboardr for life!!
I still listen to this original song that i got from Hello Vegas back in those days... what memories back then life was so different for me. Wish the band gotten bigger and that this song was on spotify in this version so i can take it easely with me what a classic! Cant believe it is already been 13 years ago...

I´m loving sliding and finally got my bhangra...it´s and amazing board for dancing and everything I think. It depends on your ability. Longboarding is an amazing and enjoyable part of my life.
do all long boards bend when u step in the middle im thinking about buying one. but i'd get nervous about it bending and breaking. is there any that dont bend and is stabler?
@MrVigel You're definitely right with all your statements, but wheelbase is what makes all the difference. I really think it's a dancer/dervish styled hybrid. They took and improved what they had on the dancer and improved it a ton. The tails are like version 5.0 of the dancer's awkwardness of tails. It's lighter. Also added aspects of the dervish (WHEELBASE - very important to overall feel). It honestly feels so much more versatile now, which lends itself to the dervish side of the family.
I regretted buying this board at first and i started riding it recently and im in love i just wish adam c would upload this in better quality or go retro and make a video on the old dancer
im looking into getting a loaded board, but idk which one to get, i would like a board that is very versitle, and MOSTLY for crusing around town, would the dancer be a good pick, or the dervish?
God obviously put an order in for an amazing board. no matter what new board, no matter what new materials there are, no matter what new technology there is...the dancer has remained as the king, as a legend, as an inspiration. there has been no other board that makes me love longboarding as much as the dancer has. as much as i love the bhangra, nothing can replace the dancer. Long live the Dancer.

Not sure if you have ever watched real whirling dervish videos but assuming you have not, you guys have captured the true essence of the Sufi mystic poet they were created to celebrate the life of. i tested one of these at red belly board shop, the thing is a rolling trampoline, i love it! definitely not a first beginning board though, i think i'm leaning towards an arbor blunt for my first one
