    I had a few solutions for the numbers puzzle other than Rachel's. They're all just different versions of the fundamentally same sum:
    9 x 4 = 36
    10 + 8 = 18
    36 x 18 = 648
    648 + 5 = 653
    9 x 8 = 72
    10 - 1 = 9
    72 x 9 = 648
    648 + 5 = 653
    10 - 1 = 9
    9 x 9 = 81
    81 x 8 = 648
    648 + 5 = 653

  • @JamieAtSLC
    @JamieAtSLC Před 7 lety +1

    8*9 = 72

      @tiarnan76 Před 4 lety

      you also could have done -
      8*9 = 72
      10-1 = 9

      5 + 648 = 653

      @@redpred3502 well, I'd be blessed if what it is was savants. But actually it is just our ability to hyper focus on special interessts. And some of us, not all, have numbers and letters as special interessts. Hyper focusing is an autistic gift giving us the ability to concentrate on one subject for more than 3 hours without a break. We hyper study it, giving us knowledge about the subject. The knowledge doesn't come by itself, but I understand how it could be missunderstood as savants. Also the hyperfocusing can be negative in how we handle critique in our fav subjects. Allthough Richards attack on a woman cus of critique is not excusable with autism. I do feel a small fraction of empathy to him. Way more for the victim. He needs psychiatric help.
