If I recall, I think the 2014 atomic breath was explained to be weaker than the version seen in the following movies due to the EMP from the MUTO's
Oh this makes so much sense, I just figured it was just weak cuz he was rusty.
True. But another reason would be that Godzilla was already extremely weakened and tired from combat with the M.U.T.O.s.

A note on Shin, the coagulant never killed him. It literally just froze him in place, and it says that he could revive, and the countdown to nuke Japan in hopes of destroying him would begin again when he resumes activity
I guess we got a Shin Godzilla 2 right on our hands then.
Shin Godzilla's radioactive isotopes had a half life of 3 years, so long as it is kept frozen in place, it would have nothing to keep it alive. And Tokio would be safe for everyone in 10 years, with a giant statue too.
What the rest of the world say was "if it moves we are nuking". So long as they keep pumping coagulants there won't be any risk of the reactor working again.
Yes he isn't dead and who knows if the coagulant will be effective since he evolves.
There was supposed to be a sequel to shin godzilla called shin godzilla Lazarus but it has been canceled but the basic plot was posted online and it says that the coagulation wouldn't be effective after a few weeks. Shin godzilla 2 was also gonna have a new ghidorah called shin ghidorah

What I love the most about Legendary is not just the look but the charge up sound before the breath attack is unleashed. You also hear it in nuclear mode, leading up to the pulse.
I was really glad to see Zilla Jr. included. Obviously he was never gonna win lol
But he's often overlooked and far superior to the 98 movie monster. Him acting so dog-like also gave him a lot of personality and was generally very likable

Firstly, this video was BEAUTIFULLY animated. *chef's kiss* to all parties involved. Secondly, the one thing I might disagree on is MonsterVerse Goji's intelligence rating being 6.5 He has shown numerous times that he can differentiate between enemy and foe, like with Kong. He recognizes that Kong isn't a danger to earth. He's just someone that needs to know his place. Same with humans. He's able to remember human faces. His battle skills come with age and wisdom, reflecting that he's very capable of using reason. His instincts are impressive as well. But that's my only issue. Everything else is great and I'm super cool with Heisei taking the crown.
Monsterverse Godzilla's intelligence would be more than that. Since he lived for millions of years, hell knows what else he can do and know. He recognizes ennemies, learn from battles, mistakes, allies, humans and not to mention his past. When you look at Godzilla Dominion, their's a connection between him and the moon and he remembers Mothra. And there's more of his intelligence shown in the book
He also holded back for the N.F.T.
I would give him an intelligence of 7.5
@@titanusgoji2157 Exactly!
I disagree with MV being higher than Heisei, despite both being heavily downplayed. Heisei has shown very impressive feats including resisting telepathy rather easily, and to do that you need high intelligence for that. He also been stated to have human-like sentiments as well. Also the first one to find out SpaceGodzilla’s before the humans, who were very experienced with Kaijus. Showa should be higher to with better battle tactics and being able to understand things incomprehensible to humans.
Legendary also absorbed Mothra's abilities. He now has the ability to detect changes happening on the Earth, and any titan anywhere on the Earth. He also has a bunch of other passive abilities like the ability to see heat and walk on the sea floor. He's also the smartest Godzilla.
showa is also smart tbh

As a longtime Gojira fan, I'm happy to give the victory to the Heisei era. However, let's not forget that to reach the upper levels of that power, it cost him his life. (Though that death did bring his Son back to life.)
even without his upper powers, his power was so tremendous it was comparable to black holes, black holes are 5th dimensional which would make a base heisei godzilla relative to the 5th dimension.

It’s awesome how you don’t say “this godzilla is superior then the other” you make each one of them feel powerful in there own rights as there own creature, and I’ve always liked that style, you shouldn’t say one is better then the other, the Showa Godzilla was more on nuclear power, legendary is based on realism, he evolved by nature, the Showa is a nuclear accident monster and both are still awesome concepts, you should do a series on this’ “what’s the strongest ghidorah?” Would be awesome!

Kinda weird to exclude the 2 most obviously powerful iterations of Goji when you’re trying to figure out which version is the most powerful. Plus almost every millennium Goji was a completely different creature since almost every movie hit the reset to 54 button on its continuity. GMK was a freaking undead kaiju!
Aside from that, pretty good video, I love Heisei Goji and I’m glad you didn’t overlook the animated series Zilla.

Yeah the Millenium Godzillas were all different continuities. The only one that got to be in more than one film was the Godzilla in the Kiryu movies(Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla[2002] & Godzilla Tokyo SOS[2003]). And as you stated the GMK Godzilla is VERY different as well.

I concur since this is the Godzilla who can transform into Super Godzilla
Godzilla: Final Wars version remains for me the most powerful version of the character because he was able to kill about 10 kaijus in one movie, he's got a powerful atomic breath that was able to create a shock-wave, the spiral breath, and the physical abilities being able to lift Keizer Ghidorah.

I mean when you think about none of the Godzillas in the millennium era are the same Godzilla with exception of the 2002-03 variant. Each millennium Godzilla is alternate story based off of what happened in 1954. Especially considering the heisei and showa versions is a linear story line for each era respectfully. So I think final wars could have been included it's just that each millennium variant would have to have different evaluations. I mean GMK is literally immortal
2002 is a direct sequel to 1954
@@stickboianimations2273 all the millennium movies are. They each have plots that uses 1954 a premise in some way. 2002-03 is just more direct with theirs. Shin Godzilla is my favorite of them all, the uniqueness of constantly evolving against threats is terrifying. Not to mention it’s design. I’ve always liked looking at Kaiju movies in a perspective of a horror movie because giant beasts indifferent to the destruction they bring is absolutely horrifying and Shin Godzilla delivered that for me. I hope they make a sequel at some point, I’d like to see where that could go.
All that aside, fantastic video! I enjoyed the animations and the presentations on each character. Very well done!
FUCK THAT GODZILLA.
It would be cool, but it would be hard. The direction in which he was suggested to be evolving, the sequel would have basically been a spin-off, rather than a Godzilla movie. It is a spin-off I would like to see, mind you.

My only gripe with ShinGoji is the tail beam. It was cool but it's a bit overkill lol.

Overall I pretty much completely agree with this outcome. Theoretically, a battle between Heisei, Shin, and Legendary Godzilla could really go either way. Heisei has the power, Legendary has the brute strength, and Shin could potentially evolve to surpass both in power. It would be a battle to shake the Earth for sure.
Also, I'd throw Final Wars Godzilla in that fight as well, because holy shit they took the best of every Godzilla at that point and put it together into the most Overpowered Godzilla ever. Totally fair to exclude him when looking at Millennium Godzilla, as they really are too different from one another.

There would be no final form if it always kept evolving. And he was also defeated by non sci fi equipment due to his own glaring weaknesses. Which puts him below most Godzillas in reality. Shin is powerful. But he isn't THAT powerful.
@@smugreptile6695 exactly what I though
If he ever had a final form, he would at least be at the point of becoming of omni-verse.
@Reaper It's confirmed because of the fact that advanced evolutions of shin were made, even though the 2nd movie never came out. And yes, he definetly has 4+ forms considering we have 5 forms in the 1st movie.
Honestly, I think all of them are equally powerful in their own way.
Same
Like showa can fly, heisei can pulse, legendary and shin can constantly grow, and millennium has so many forms
So they truly are all powerful
Honestly same imo
@@chadgorosaurus4898 I disagree. Legendary isn’t known for growing or evolving and Shin doesn’t necessarily grow, mainly evolve. Ultima grows only. The only two Godzillas evolving were Shin and Ultima. Millenium doesn’t have many forms, it’s only Incarnations and that’s not an advantage and if you’d count that Showa has much more Incarnation than Millenium Era Godzillas. It would rather be the most advanced in his Atomic Breath, due to it being also similar to the Red Spiral, note that they all charged their breath (all Millenium Era G’s), making it more powerful. FinalGoji had the strongest Breath of these. Both FinalGoji and GmkGoji had a separate, stronger Breath (Burning Hyper G Spark Ray and Golden Spiral Atomic Breath)
Heisei’s Speciality isn’t his Pulse, but rather being the most Intelligent Godzilla. I think he’s just the most powerful (Burning State, Nuclear Pulse, Spiral Atomic Breath, Red Spiral Heat Ray)

This video was absolutely stunning and the points were incredibly valid. I felt it really was a tie between Heisei and Legendary
I feel like legendary would win with Heidi in a close second. When he gets charged he may become thermo, and never takes damage until he is out of it. Even if Heidi becomes burning, he can't do a thing. The only thing he can do is do his end of the world pulse which then no one wins.

I would raise his intelligence to 8.5
KoTM Legendary could maybe be given an 8.5, GvK Legendary couldn't though lol. He was kind of being a dumbass the entire movie and got his ass handed to him by Mechagodzilla as a result. No titan that's fully aware of the presence of their arch nemesis, who literally fought and nearly killed them in the previous film, but still chooses to spam tf out of their atomic breath and waste half their energy fighting a titan who clearly is not their equal just as they began approaching what they had been tracking down for the entirety of the movie, can be given 8.5/10 intelligence. Logically, that was the stupidest shit Legendary has ever done. Strategically, his choice to do what he did in GvK brings all of his battle experience into question. Millions of years of kicking ass but now he's choosing to fight his fights based on raw emotion? Not a smart move at all. Hopefully he redeems himself in the next MV film

You know I just love how he left out that SP Godzilla Ultima basically was tearing the entire universe apart with its mere presence. Making him the only Cosmic Eldridge Godzilla and despite his smaller size, the most powerful.
Yeah that kinda overlooked the premise of the series and how it was representing Godzilla as a singularity of destruction on a potentially universal scale. Can't really get more badass than that.

There isn't a single feat in Legendary's catalog that proves he's stronger than Heisei. Maybe at some point in the future of the Monsterverse there will be, but as of right now, nah chief, it isn't even close
awesome video!! loved it!! burning godzilla from the 90s vs 2019 fire godzilla..
I love this kind of content no cap 🔥
I think legendary has potential to be the strongest, but for now it’s either Heisei or Final Wars
If we are talking about potential then it will have to be shin Godzilla.
@@Arcad1010 Shin has no potential right now because as far as we know he's still frozen. If he gets another film then maybe
Zilla Jr is obviously not the most powerful, but he's my personal favorite
Same
Julian che ci fai qui??? 😂
Vedo che anche tu sei un fan accanito del goji, ne sono felice!
I love Zilla Jr as well!
I thought that Zilla was the most realistic looking out of the bunch.
He would had he been smaller(Say, vastato sized) but at his canon size in the film, not so considering Slim, raptor-esque digitigrade legs don't really do well when you are fuck huge. A slim figure and lanky arms are not ideal if you are an amphibious being who has to burrow.
Heisei era goji (1991 - 1995) is my favorite version of the king of kaiju. His pulse is EXTREMELY effective against most kaiju, like mothra. It would obliterate her, bc she’s basically just a flying piece of fuzz. Also, ghidorah is very vulnerable against the pulse, especially the wings of Ichi, San, and kevin
I’ve always liked to think Zilla is a smaller relative of the Godzilla species that acts as a pack hunter
To me Godzilla earth is the most powerful even when he was young he had incredible power. According to the novels Godzilla earth destroyed a meteor (Gorath) with the same mass of the moon, he also destroyed San Francisco with a single shoot, he killed all the kaijus , pushed humanity back to the bring of destruction, he survived 150 nuclear bombs and he did all that when was only 50 meters tall.
Shin can literally become god
@@raiden1086 definitely if he got enough time to actually evolve more
@@erwinserrano7023 yeah, imagine he easily one hits red
@@raiden1086 well we would never know since he got frozen
Personally Shin and Earth are both the most powerful oppositely, Shin takes exposure and long time to evolve, whilst Earth is already born godlike.
I think godzilla earth is the strongest and i love that you mentioned that he is literaly too big and strong to even compare to the other ones. I respect your opinion on the other ones too, hesei was amazing in the movie.Good video!!!😊❤😂😂😊😊
Coulda sworn in the Godzilla: Singular Point series, one of the characters said Godzilla Ultimate was going to grow to 110m tall near the end of the series.
The most powerful Godzilla….
Is Super Godzilla
To be fair, there’s only ONE movie, featuring Shin Godzilla.
Hopefully, we get to see more of Shin Godzilla and get exposed to more of Shin’s potential abilities.
Heisei, a father, his death was probably the saddest scene in all of godzilla movie history, but he will always be remembered as the strongest live-action godzilla
Shin Godzilla can barely move by the time of his final form but his atomic ray looks like it could slice right through any other Godzilla.
Fun Fact: shin is actually one of the smartest Godzillas ever because he knows how he is created and how humanity lays waste to the world so that's why he goes berserk and attacks japan because he knows he will die but he doesn't want humanity to forget the devastation they caused and continue using nuclear weapons.
Sources?
@@francoborda826 in the who will know song, its from the pov of shin, basically shin has a mind that wants to die but a body that wants to survive hence fights back
i totally agree with this.
@@streak1762 oh right, i forget about the song...
One issue I had was Dangerville saying Godzilla was killed. It's stated the blood coagulant was a temporary stop. He will eventually reawaken.
The Godzilla of GMK should also stand apart (just like the Final Wars version) from the rest of the Millennium versions. It too is very different, and more supernatural in nature.
Agreed
I was thinking just that
He is very small and was one of the few Godzillas to be beaten by human weapons.
Haven't watched the video just yet, and it doesn't even matter if it's Legendary Godzilla that is the most powerful or not, that's my absolute favorite iteration of Godzilla, and I can't wait to see more of him in the Monsterverse.
how did u do those animated models? thats so cool
In all honesty, I think that monsterverse Godzilla is the most powerful Godzilla in the live action films, while Godzilla Earth is the most powerful version of Godzilla overall.
hesie is the strongest live action version in my opinion
Physically he is pretty powerful and having an impressive durability. Heisei is more powerful his beam does better damage to other opponents than legendary even at base. Hesiei's abilities are more impressive and can be used at will where legendary has to have assistance or be in a special circumstance to use certain abilities. Both are equal in physical strength the most they've both lifted is 150,000 metric tons. Why Legendary loses is cause he has to close the distance to really do damage. Heisei has abilities to keep opponents at a distance though. I just don't see legendary winning most encounters.
Legendary is pretty fodder. Showa and Heisei would wreck him no diff
@Roblox Hitler 卐 stop capping so hard💀 Legendary goji is not weak, he has Thermonuclear form and he literally burnt a hole into hollow earth by using the atomic breath, thats thousands of kilometers.
@Roblox Hitler 卐 I swear y’all just be saying anything about monsterverse Godzilla 💀he’s not weak bro literally can send nuclear pulse and go thromonuclear and blew a whole straight to hollow and was even stated that he wasn’t even using full power in the first place so blowing atomic breath into the hollow wasn’t even his strongest attack so imagine if he used full power not to mention he is pretty fast and overall has ok intelligence and his durability is pretty ok to, but let’s not forget him having to fight muto prime in the comics to he had to put of hell of an battle to kill her off he had to scarfice is dorsal plates his atomic pulse attack introduced in the comics was pretty strong ( comic name: aftershock )
Did we just skip the fact that Godzilla Ultima can destroy the universe in only a couple days and was only stopped by another singularity like himself. Plus he didn't stay at 45 meters tall, he kept growing and it was implied that he would just keep growing bigger and also doesn't the show say he can control 13 dimensions and is a multidimensional being
Ultima doesn’t have the power to do it, his existence in our world causes the universe to collapse bcs the physics of Godzilla’s world doesn’t apply here, the red dust is what keeps Ultima alive, the rodans could only survive in the red dust and when it’s out, the physics of this world apply to it and it dies.
@@apexatrovinator7510 He does lmao, just that what we’ve seen isn’t his true potential
Besides we’ll just have to wait until season 2. The catastrophe was only caused by the red dust and it would be able to destroy the universe. It’s not Godzilla no its actually the red dust
Also it isn’t 13 dimensions, it’s just 13 phases of the archetype
@@benji29jk35 he litteraly creates and controls the red dust doofus, its litteraly ultima.
IN MY OPINION SHOWA GODZILLA WAS POWERFUL CUZ OF HIS SIZE AND STRENGTH AND SUPERVISOR INTELLIGENCE THE ONLY ONE THAT UNDERSTOOD NOT TO TOUCH THE HIGH TENSION WIRES AND KNEW THAT ELECTRICAL WIRES WERE HIS ENEMY AND ENERGY
One part of Godzilla 2014 that I liked was when the Male MUTÓ was flying around, and Big G waited and anticipated a tail strike, timing it perfectly.
That was a great sign of intelligence for me
Love the video! But tbh I thought Shin Goji, would have gotten the top spot. When shown his mutation abilities, he can keep mutating into basically a cosmic horror type of being if allowed. Still the down side is shin didn’t fight another monster. So that does give heisei goji a bonus.
Shin can't take the thrown as yet, he's like one day old and super op, but one day old.
Shin is not really made for fighting
The i tought fw or heisei will be top but heisei did shi and legendary remains 2nd fw is third
Shin Godzilla can evolve to fight duh
This video was worth the wait, good job DangerVille you never cease to amaze me with your quality video's.

He purposely left out Earth, Ultima and Final Wars of the main discussion, so Monsterverse could easily win, that's unfair
@@Assassin199410 actually if earth was there then there is no meaning of comparison because he always win by size

I believe in one of your own videos, you gave the reason for his atomic breathe being weaker against the Mutos due to their EMP blast making his atomic breathe weaker.
Legendary Godzilla - intelligence 6.5?! You gotta be kidding, he is very intelligent and smart, probs the most intelligent Goji seen on the big screens, his intelligence should be atleast 8. I would give him 9 or 10
i wouldn´t be underestimating him but neither would I be overestimating him, his problem solving is very basic, his tool usage is none, and like Alastair said here his usual problem solving is destroying so I would be giving him 7.4
Legendary godzilla is litterly the smartest not the strongest bit is the smartest of all godzillas gmk godzilla was dumb
I would give you an intelligent of 3
Showa,Zilla is way smarter

This was pretty cool.
Hey great video I loved it and I agree with Heisei taking the crown but my personal favorite is Shwoa Godzilla
And one more thing I know he is a fan favorite but I don't really like shin Godzilla but he does have really cool attacks
Beautifully animated video and thank you for actually researching and saying correct feats for each character. Although, I disagree with the outcome and think Earth is the strongest of all time, you still did the research correctly and took time to do so, unlike some monstrosities, like *cough cough* *Super Power Beatdown.*
I wouldn’t say he necessarily is just due to his Size, even tho I must say his Durability was truly impressive, however it *cannot* be compared. Shin Godzilla is confirmed to be City Level, while Marvel and FinalGoji were the most durable Incarnations. I think Ultima had a huge Advantage just because he has the possibly strongest Beam and can instantly heal. Heisei Godzilla might beat him too as the Combination of his Thermo Pulse and the Infinite Heat Ray would destroy Earth.
If not him and you disagree and manage to convince me with Arguments I would either interact and eventually agree, but Hell Godzilla would *OBLITERATE* him. He is the Embodiment of Willpower, was able to kill the Gods, destroy the Portal to Heaven with the ‘Heavenly Spiral Heat Ray’, defeating King Ghidorah, Destoroyah and Spacegodzilla with ease and defeating the Guardian to Hell
Earth is definitely the strongest which is why he wasn't included, he'd stomp over the rest easily,it'd be too one sided

I've always known Heisei Godzilla was the most powerful iteration of Godzilla ever.
The year 2016 is still Heisei era, and only in 2019 onwards is Reiwa era.❤
Can we all agree that it’s heisei honestly. He was able to take out Star level and planetary level threats including a solar system level destroyah. His infinite heat easily makes him galaxy level and his cells can survive black holes, and super novas. Showa is equally Star level. Millennium from final wars is small planetary level since he was stopped an asteroid that was able to destroy the planet. Monsterverse is multi continent level since he never caused planetary destruction and neither was ghidorah and muto at planetary level threat. Muto prime is also multi continent level and Godzilla from hell they have confirmed that is was only a dream and Godzilla killed low class demons so he is only Star level at max potential. Besides the thing that was guarding the mountain was only a monster the creator has confirmed.

If Heisei Godzilla was in his total nuclear meltdown form then it will be a successful victory for him, remember his meltdown was gonna pretty much melt the entire Earth in Godzilla Vs Destoryah.
In the movie it's stated that he was literally going to destroy the entire MF universe LOL.
Burning is just kinda unfair he's like a nuclear a bomb and when u destroy it will explode and kill everyone making him a suicide bomb that kill everything

The strongest would probably be ultima. Ultima has such a powerful beam and it's so large
So glad you chose Heisei. He was also, I think, the one with the best and most tragic character arc. He starts off as a melancholy animal who gets dumped into a volcano, transitions into a rage filled, embittered monster in GVB, GVKG and GVM, then becomes a happy father who's finally found joy in life, only to have it ripped away from him, and dies in a blaze of glorious sadness.
Agreed. He is the only Godzilla with actual character development and a good story arc
now all we need a series on godzilla jrs rebirth...

Appreciate the effort put into this, good video! However there are some sort of obvious disagreements I have that I don’t really get lol Those being Legendary’s intelligence being rated too lowly as he’s shown more of a connection, thought and purpose than most versions and his ranged attack is certainly more powerful than Showa’s. Another big issue is you lumping the Millenium era Godzilla’s together when they’re pretty distinctly different in their behavior and how they fight. They’re clearly different versions of the character. The only ones you could put together are G2K and Megaguirus and Against Mechagodzilla/Tokyo S.O.S. Excluding Final Wars Godzilla is a bizarre choice too. If he’s one of the most powerful wouldn’t you want to factor him in? He’s on the same level as Heisei but faster and can actually use his hands to a notable level. Not to mention the original 54’ Gojira and the Godzilla we see from Raids Again to the end of the Showa series are two different Godzilla’s as well. I’d also put Shins defense down a notch due to how embarrassingly he was injected with the coagulant in the first place. Again I appreciate the effort in the animation here but there’s just some corners cut here that don’t really make sense compared to the detail of the rest of the video.
Great video! Thoroughly enjoyed it. My one complaint, those tracking lines have got to go!!! Cool effect for a minute, but after that it reminded me of renting a tape and finding it unwatchable.
Hard to argue against Heisei Goji. It is the definitive version, really. Wise leaving out Final Wars Goji, as it wouldn't have been a discussion. He is ridiculously OP in that one . . . and Earth, yeah, you can't really compare that to anything.
