A Thousand Whirling Dervishes · 50 Word MicroPoem · Collage Animation

I started writing fifty word stories at aged fifteen. An obsession with punchlines, brevity and exact word-count brought me to this unlikely medium.
Over the years I'd write them in times of strife or inspiration, and they developed into 50 word poems, where I added the complexity of rhyme and beat to the word-count rule. Not knowing what to do with them, I just posted them on my blog, microfiction.blogspot.com back in the day.
Now, I give them wings as 50-second video collages, where I blend animation with own staged filming and layered photo much the same way I create my collage art paintings.
