My dog has a unfunctional leg now because of his fracture mainly cause the pet hospital kept moving his surgery back days then it was too late
Oh no! I'm so sorry! My dog broke her toe and the vet had her in a splint for 2 1/2 months just to tell me it isn't healing and will need a pin put in or even worse amputation! 😥😢 All that pain she could have avoided to start with!

@@rohithmarise5705 I don’t have the most experience out there but I’m sure your vet would know what to do, if it’s a small dog like ours was then I’m sure if you leave it for 2 months then the dogs leg will be healed, it’s been just over a month and my dogs leg is already ok and she can easily walk around now, if it’s a big dog on the other hand then it depends on how bad the broken leg is
Also my dog also broke her back leg so it shouldn’t be much different but once again it all depends on the size

my dog was injured in auto accident. Was catapulted over seats hit her head on dash. she seemed unconcious for a few seconds, Then i saw her eye open. still very groggy was taken to vet. they suspected A BRAIN INJURY. Did some pictures and saline. her left leg was unable to move. She carries the paw in backward position but does not seem to be in any pain. I was told to cage her for 6 weeks. She is a placid dog, 8-9 years old and is with me constantly.usually lying at my feet. First day or so she acted like she was confused and appatite was ;lessened. This happened about a month ago. We have appointment to see surgeon this coming week. I am concerned of what the next step will be.

An evil man ran over our old dog who was on the side of the dog. He knew he was there and decided to ran over him. I heard that he screamed sooo loud 🥺😭💔 we did not have any money to send him to the vet. I live in a poor country. He suffered for days until we had to put him down. Until this day.. it breaks my heart and I wanna torture that evil motherfkr who hurt my baby boy who was one of the best dogs ever. He even tried saving me and was protective of me. Someone hit a stray dog so hard that he cannot put weight on his front left leg. Swelling is increases on his shoulder. Due to lockdown we can't visit s vet. Don't understand whether his leg is broken or not. What to do.

Jamie Eatmon my dogs leg is broke glad I checked this video. your dog may very well have the beginnings of hip dysplasia. commonly occurs in dogs who are bred too pure or are just unfortunate and have it.. if that's what it is, it will eventually take your dog and will have to be put to sleep cause there is no reversing it. hopefully your dog doesn't have it
I went and took her to the vet I found out her pelvis bone is broke into spot so they kept her for 3 days and we went got her today and she is doing good now they told us to keep her in a closed in area where she is not to walk around for six to eight weeks thank you so much

My dog unfortunately, got fractured the upper bone of his front right leg because of a car accident in the street, the veterinarian put him a cast and tell me to just let him rest, but I’m really worried about what to do during its recovery. How am I going to make him start walking again? How am I supposed to help him do his needs. If someone can relate please I’ll be very thankful for your help!
There are a couple of things you can do to help your dog recover (we're sorry to hear about his injury). Avoid stairs/furniture that they like to move up and down on, keep them on a short leash (when walking them out for potty time), switch to specialized food that's nutrient-rich, keep a cone on (if they have stitches that they can easily access/nip at), look into dog bone supplements like Boneo Canine Maintenance Formula, and avoid any strenuous activity that might get them too excited.

He’ll be fine. Don’t let him run and jump, make sure his cast or splint is kept clean and dry, and administer meds as prescribed/needed. If he is an outdoors pet, keep him indoors for a few weeks. Lastly, tie a plastic bag around his leg for potty breaks & wash-ups.

My dog broke his bone today. Some car hit him even though the accident could have been avoided. Cruel people. Anyway the total treatment cost is $30. For plaster and vaccine and doc fees and dressing included in it. Went to a private doctor. Depends on the doc mine is a govt employee doctor. I'm from India

So replace the bones with Robotics or just switch them out of place? in order for this to work we obviously have to cut out the dogs oxygen and knock it out so it doesn't bite us because of the pain so place Bionics in the dog? Or if the dog lost one or two arms just install Robot and Bionic arms on the dog?
My pug(male) had a broken femur and had a surgery for IM pin insertion. It has been 20 days since the surgery but he is still not using his leg.

My dog had TTL surgery which was $3500 and then femur fracture repair (titanium steel) which was $1500. It’s shocking to hear but necessary.

@@janetzyhernandez4314 hi. My dog went through a surgery and he is fine now. Still recovering but he can run just fine. You should take your dog to the vet immediately. Tell the vet everything, like what happened to your dog and request to do xray if you suspect there is bone fractures. If there is no vet nearby and your dog doesn't seem to hurt too much,wait till tomorrow and bring it to the vet immediately. I hope your dog is fine and have a speedy recovery.

A month or two..depends on severity though. But a month is enough for good functioning
My puppy dislocated his leg doctor told me he could fix it with physical way or surgery but surgery would make my dog limp forever
But according to the video.. their bones could be back to normal. Even without surgery. Have you tried casting? Our vet doctor told us that my puppy would walk again because he is still young. It's only been 2 days since he was ran over. I hope what our vet said was accurate. Our vet doctor only used pain relief and put cast on our puppy's leg.

Some can. Always check with your vet if your afraid your dog is injured. It may need a splint or surgery.

Take your animals to the vet or dont have animals... Simple. Just like a baby if you can't take care of it properly don't have one.
My dog broke her leg and then relapsed a week after pins were removed had to do it all over again. Just saying $4000 later and she might break it again. If you own an animal know the risks and have a plan and a savings.

@@bridgetdo7400 we use to have four steps leading up to our front door... She ran at them too fast and had dusty paws and her knee banged the step and broke... Both times. So I put a ramp there instead of stairs and now she is fine but damn expensive. We baby her now just in case.
