As a bigger guy I think it’s important to maintain a confident outlook. Confident people of any size are quite frankly, just more attractive. We have probably all met at least one person with “larger dimensions” that got a second look from you simply because they had a confident air (swagger or strut) about themselves. Not talking about being the loudest or the cockiest person. Just very self aware of their own value. Nice clothes can only take you so far. Knowing how to own the skin your in is key to pulling it all together and putting your best foot forward. P.S. Jeff, I’ve been tuning in to your channel for at least a year now and appreciate what you do to help us guys achieve & maintain great style.
being 300 pounds with a broad chest and shoulders, and even bigger legs, it’s a journey to find clothes that not only fit, but fit good. so this vid really helped a lot.
To all the big guys out there?! Lose the weight if you can. Smaller meals, walk, workout. Don't do it just to look good! Do it for your health! A lot of women are promoting this love for the big belly guys. If she doesn't want you to be healthy she might not be the one for you!

Hey Style OG, I always like and appreciate your videos. As a Big guy myself, you were spot on about all of your points. It made me laugh because I already follow those Style philosophies. I'm 6'5", 300lbs plus with broad shoulders. A store that I shop at frequently is "Destination XL". I buy everything from Jeans, shoes, suit to over coat and even sporty looks. Most locations have a tailor to assist with the fit of the clothing. They have a many good looks and I get lots of compliments via the clothes I choose while following those style tips you explained. The biggest thing dressing as a big guy is the Fit, Color and pattern if any. As well, big on the accessories as you stated. I know that was long lol.. Keep up the great work Jeff!
Being a 6'4 and 250 lbs man, it's been a challenge. Up and down 25 - 30 lbs over the past few years. I've found that Macys have quite a wide selection to fit my ever changing figure. I definitely learned about the watch size today. That's a good look. I'm a small watch face kind of guy. Got to make sure I'm proportionate in that aspect now. Thanks again O.G.
See this is why I love fall and winter. Layers are king! Blazers, jackets, vests and such. Makes a world of difference! Its only in the summer, that I feel like an overly sweaty mess lol. Would love to see a hot weather tips vid in the warmer months down the line
This is all solid advice. I've noticed that longsleeve T-shirts are making a great come back and look good on larger guys. I also find that wearing hats necklaces large watches helps take the eyes off the big belly. I wear a big and tall size and hopefully one day we will see more of these sizes available in regular every day stores and more affordable with a better variety for those of us who like to dress younger
Ralph Lauren has a Big and Tall selection online now it’s full of goodies. Once you have shop there long enough, the coupons will cometh upon you. DXL can be known to be bland for Big and Tall. They have a few locations that has a “high-end” selection of clothing. There is one outside of Philly where I shop. Bought a suit and sport coats from them plus regular jeans…
Happy to see the love for the big fellas. These are all great tips and my addition to it would be that there are "casual" suspenders. I started wearing undershirt suspenders with my casual outfits and untucked shirts. You can get them on Amazon and they're not too expensive. They are so much more comfortable than belts, especially if you sit in front of a computer/desk for work.
Great and tested advice. I think for us big guys it's even more important to look sharp, because people tend to judge us more on our appearance than the average or chiseled guy. If you're Chris Hemsworth, you can get away with wearing tank tops, flip flops and cargo shorts, but as a big guy, you'll be seen as a sloppy slouch. But a well fitting suit or combination will probably get you more compliments than it would get Chris Hemsworth, too.
Started tuning into this guy during the pandemic after Kevin Samuels mentioned him. Even though I have retail background I still need these tutorials because certain colors and looks go in and out for men. So thanks for the info my friend.
invest in shoes/boots -Your shoe size will probably fluctuate less than your waist - The extra weight we carry puts more stress on our feet so getting something quality with good support + insoles should help - Boots will straighten up your posture, they look proportional, and they have a little bit of a heel for an extra inch to your height so you appear taller/leaner - girls appreciate nice shoes/boots so that's an added bonus as well if you're dating great video and thanks for all the content you produce OG
Great tips, OG! When I was bigger, I always stayed away from the shirt tucking unless wearing a Sport Coat or Blazer. Or I would wear sweaters but never thought about suspenders. May try something new and order a pair! The great Gerald Levert would hit a note for you, my friend. Salute!
Speaking as a big fella Nautica tees are perfect for me and better than polo. I’m a 3x in them , great quality and wear very well. Old navy for the pants. Especially their “tech” pants. Plenty space in the thighs and waste and def worth the inexpensive investment. Amazon brand has a line of clothes that traditionally go up to a 3x in most pieces and that’s where I get my blazers and henleys from and I love them. Good luck fellas! Jeff, much appreciated on this one. Love the work you do fam, salute !

Another great video! I'm new to the channel and to fashion in general. I'm a "big" guy, at 230 lbs and only 5'8.75". I'm a long-time weight lifter so I'm quite muscular, but I still have a large stomach and would look really good if I lost 20 lbs. But, until then, I need to look good now, and you offered some very indispensable tips: I'd say first, we big guys need a beard, and it must go down to the neckline, NOT around the jawline! Second, as stated, we simply have to have our clothes tailored. Without tailoring, the large shirts we buy have tons of baggy fabric that bunches up around the waist which makes us look like a balloon!
Appreciate the 411 Style O.G. knowing fit is key as too long shirts can look like dresses when UN-tucked. You're also right about baggy leading to a bulky appearance looking more disheveled. Unfortunately, some store catalogs don't use models true to size due to affecting sales but can lead to horrible fit if you don't frame yourself right (if you're not tall, don't go for the XT).
