We took our dogs to a dog friendly zoo, where they meet wild animals such as rhinos, lions, meerkats and monkeys for the first time ever!

Who knew dog friendly zoos existed? We had no idea until we found this one đ
How cool!!! đ
I never knew there were dog friendly zoos either.
Thankyou, I found it so surreal. I was wondering if this is common in the UK. That answers that question
That would be because you actually stressing most of animals in ZOO by bringing their natural predators.
@@nightmaresturningoftendejavue well, technically, domesticated dogs aren't the natural predators of any animal (aside from those that were literally bred to hunt, and that's still not a natural predator cos centuries of breeding leaves nothing that's 'natural'). So many of these animals wouldn't even know what they are - like the large African mammals (I'm sure the meerkats realised there was something not quite right there) and the farm animals are probably used to dogs.
But yeah, I was horrified when I first saw this, and while I think they should rethink some of the animals they keep (like the meerkats), if they are going to allow dogs to visit, it doesn't seem to phase the majority of those animals (and, let's face it, if anything should freak animals out it's humans visiting)
a natural dobberman! Beautiful!
Thank you!
Never seen a doberman with its tail
Who knew dobermans had such long tails! Kudoâs to breeders who donât maim the dogs!
I know right theyâre so long!
When I was a kid we had a Doberman with natural ears and tail. He lookednjust like this one. Spider was a good boy....
Dittos. I hate to see dogs who have cropped tails or ears too!! I 100% agree this is butchering. Sad.
â@@thegoldenkobefamilyOnly reason to ever maim a dog is to prevent injury in future. Livestock guardian dogs get their eats and tails clipped to help prevent coyotes, wolves, and other predators from having easy handles. However, pets should not be subjected to such a things. Need to keep sheep safe m fine. Want a dog that looks cool? Get a different breed.
Forbidden in Germany so they all have long tail unless out of Eastern Europe
Adorable video. Kobe and Moki were so well-behaved.
Glad you enjoyed it đ they were so good
I'm shocked they even allow dogs in the zoo.
Why?
@@ac1646 Because there was no such thing growing up in American zoos I know in San Francisco - I went all the time since it near the Ocean 20 blocks away from my home.
@@sueprator9314 UK is very much a dog lovers nation, they are allowed almost everywhere with exception of a few restaurants. a lot of places even have doggo water outside and a doggo menu.
@@ac1646 Because if a dog got off-leash it could cause all kinds of havoc.. They're animals.
@@BeckyM154 Ty. Make sense. đđ
What a sweet and charming video! I also had no idea there were dog-friendly zoos. Love your dogs!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed đ
My thoughts also! I don't remember that from years ago. I grew up 20 blocks from the San Francisco Zoo and do not remember people allowed to bring dogs on leashes at all. Nice!!!
Best bit the dogs enjoying their train ride â€
They loved it!!
Dogs are just like children đ
Children you got on a leash
TBH Old dogs are not
They are more wise and are more adult like!
Donât know who enjoyed experience more, the dog, yourselves, or me đŹđ§ thank you
Hahaha everyone had a great time đ
đ đ đ đ
LOVE The video, the dogs and the "Mom & Dad" Great stuff!
GREAT PARENTS
Thank you!!
Now thats what I call a REAL DOGGIE PARK :)
I loved those snap shots with each animal behind the dogs. I liked camels.
Glad you enjoyed!! đ
Our family Pointer wouldn't be that well behaved. Although she is great with people and her brother dog, she is a real hunter at heart. We always have to keep an eye on her.
Iâm surprised how well behaved Kobe was, he has a high prey drive too
God bless all of you that stood up. Thank you đșđžâ„ïž
Rhino was my favourite photo. Such good dogs. I took my dogs to Banff (Canada) and they went ballistic when they saw a herd of deer.
We used drive, with our dogs, through a country park that has several different types of deer.
There are a few herds, and they are sometimes quite large, so the dogs loved it. No doubt they would have loved it even more if we let them get out and walk through, but where we live there are fields out the back, so I would walk round them, and we would sometimes see deer there.
FYI: it is illegal in the UK to dock dog tails unless recommended by a vet. Usually it's for injury or illness but also is exempted if the dog will be working and runs a high risk of injury. It has to be proven to a satisfactory standard it's a necessary procedure for a working dog and the vet who carries it out has to provide a letter confirming their reasons, plus it proves the procedure was done under anaesthetic.
I love these two goof balls! They enjoy everything! â€â€â€â€
They do đ
It looks like the Dogs were much more intelligent than their human counterparts because they understood the animals in the enclosures better than the the Humans.
They understood it how? By doing what?
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I loved watching the two dogâs expressions. Brilliant. đâđŠșđđŸđ
Glad you enjoyed it
This brought such a smile to my face!! Thank you for sharing such a sweet adventure with us!đ
I didn't know dogs were allowed to the zoo! That's so amazing! And I love that your doberman has its natural ears and tail! â€
Neither did we till we found this place! We love that she has them too đ
Kobe and Moki aren't at all spoiled. đ
Not one bit đđ€
Thank you for a lovely video!
Thank you for watching!
Really, I liked the thumbnail at the beginning of this video, where both dogs were sitting and looking at the lion through the glass. Both dogs were showing great respect for the lion
Oh my goodness; thank you for making my heart happy. Your dogs are so loved.
Thank you for watching! đ
beautiful zoo. seems both people and animal friendly......
Being german, my father had for decades Rottweiler dogs. With the last one he one day made a larger walk than usual. A circus had arrived, and a Circus man took an Elephant to the little river, to drink. The Rottweiler had never seen or smelled such a giant annimal, and was unsure what to do. The circus man gave my father the advise to pass the Elephant in a large circle, because he also was unsure, what his annimal would do.
So schön ,wo ist dieser Zoo der so Hunde freundlich ist. â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€
Yes I want to know where is this Zoo as well
Very cute !
That was fun! What a great life those 2 pups have. I'll bet they slept well that night. Thanks for sharing their wonder filled adventure with us. â€đâ€
Thanks for watching! đ
Wow what a nice place.
This is a whole SAFARI â€
Very nice dogs!
This was fantastic! This video made my day. Well done!
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a great dog day that was! đ
Thank you for the journey I enjoyed myself along with them, you have very good fur babies. Very well trained and behave
jupp:) thats a good doglife. Great stimulation for their curiosity
This is absolutely incredible! Love the interaction between the zoo animals and the pooches. Too cute!
I went here years ago with my border collie. We were standing outside an apparently empty enclosure when a huge tiger stood up from some long grass. My dog took one look, turned and ran, pulling the lead out of my hand. I got her back very soon but she was taking no chances with that enormous cat! I'm surprised your dogs didn't run from the lion!
so were we!! i'm sure if the lion did something like that, they may have đ€Ł
Wonderful, it so happens to be the first I hear of dogs on trains đđ§Ąđ„
My dogs would never have behaved so good in such a place! They would have gone simply crazy, jumping up and down, pulling hard on their leashes and barking!
So cute. Their little heads darting this way and that taking it all in.
So funny to watch đ€Ł
Thank you for sharing a beautiful video, your two adorable pooches are so precious. đ©·đŸđ©·đŒđ©·đŠđ©·
Our pleasure!
Should've chosen the one with the camels - that one was hilarious! XD
This is so cute. They're so excited. â€â€â€
What a nice video đ
The meerkats at my local zoo all gathered at the glass when someone brought a service dog by, they were so curious and couldnât get close enough. They were literally climbing over each other to see, I was surprised because they are prey animal but they werenât scared at all.
Those dogs really enjoyed that outing.
Aww, that's so sweet! I'm usually afraid of big dogs, but yours look very friendly!
This place is awesome, doggie zoo, I want to bring my baby đ¶there. Doggie ice cream. đŸ
I love your dogs â€
Donkeys and dogs DONâT get along! đ
Awesome zoo

Omg I wish we had dog-friendly zoos in Australia
Made my year this video â€
I love the one with the turtles đą
They loved them đ€Ł
Great video! Your dogs are so cute!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed đ
On I've been there! Such a nice place
I have a red Dobie named Loki. He also has an insane prey drive! Moki & Loki. :-)
Chase that moggy đ
This is indeed how u spoil the babies đ„°
Wow, I throughly enjoyed the trip to the zoo. Your dogs are beautiful, very well behaved and, obviously very loved.đđđŸđŸ
Thank you so much!
This was so lovely and fun to watch đ
I don't know man, I can totally believe their reaction, they're dogs being dogs.
Love your doberman
Loved it!
Thank you for sharing your adventures, the doggos reactions to the other animals were adorableâ„
Our pleasure!
Moki wasnât clueless, she just wasnât impressed with all of the animals! đđđđ
Loved this video. Sweet sweet puppies!
Thank you so much!
Wow wish we had one here in SC
They were fascinated by the tortoises most and loved the train ride bestđ
Moki=Santa's little helper
Yesss đ
AwwwwâŠyour doggos are so sweet! And also so well behaved! My little Cavapoo Mia would have been pulling like crazy on her leash and barking at everything! Moki may have liked the train because unlike the car, it was an open air ride and she was very close to you. What a lovely zoo. Thank you for taking me on this visit with the four of you!
Thank you so much!!
It was great thk u
They look like Dachshunds in the thumbnail ⊠Lions are just too massive đź
Please give them bigger ice creams!
Yep, they're staring. They are from germany! đđ
I missed the wolfs đą
I have a horse farm and all of my other animals are rescues. Some of the toughest dogs I have ever had are so nervous about the horses. It is animal to animal, but I just really appreciatte your video. So cute! :) Good for you and your dogs! That is awesome!
Iâve always wanted to take my dogs to the zoo. I wish they allowed it where I live.
That must've been quite an adventure for them both :-)
It sure was!
Doggos:
Mom do you think our cousins will be happy to see us?
Wolves:
Oh look, our snacks came right to us
đ
My dog (Maltese) loves a few licks of soft serve, but he wonât eat dog ice cream.
I loved how interested the gorgeous ones were in the other animals! Kobe was definitely a pro at the ice cream đ and I have to say Moki is the most beautiful Doberman Iâve ever seen! (Sorry Kobe youâre so lovely too!) How cute were they on the train! What a great day for you all!, Were heading down to the Cotswolds on holiday with our wonderful Basset Hound soon so we will definitely visit there too, Iâm not usually a fan of âzoosâ, hate to see wild animals confined but this facility looked well run and spacious. Fab video once again, you pair are such fabulous dog parents, super role models! đ„°
Glad you enjoyed and enjoy your holiday đ
Very well designed zoo which is compact and very visitor friendly and safe. The toy train is very well designed and allows even kids to watch the surroundings standing up. Dog friendly zoos are a rarity. Video Does not tell name and location of zoo
Great, Super great Video đ
We did not know that dogs are allowed !!!
Woooooooow. â€
Neither did we till we found this place! Glad you enjoyed đ
So cute. Wish we could take our dogs somewhere, in Namibia they will never allow this.đ
Hello from Finland . your dog's are adorable remains of Disney characters really liked your video.
Thank you so much!
Theyâre not turtles, theyâre tortoises. Turtles have flippers instead of feet and spend most of their lives in the ocean.
Iâve never been at a zoo where dogs were allowed, even on leash, unless they were service dogs.
Issue's I see is first the zoo not having the right kind of animal's there and them seeing the dog's could either stress them or get them riled up...2nd issue is those many poor dog owner's and don't keep a tight control on their animals who could even be poorly trained dog's...
01:32 Woh-ah đ
I think you should do a collage of all pictures, including them on the train in the middle. đ
Sadly but it was very calm reaction
I'm so glad I found your channel last week. I have been trying to decide on which dog breed to get as my new sidekick. Dobermans, Goldens, and Pyrenees are the breeds I'm thinking about. I thought I'd finally settled on a Golden, but then this video popped up! So hard to choose! Your dogs are beautiful. I love your videos!
Thatâs a tough choice!
Doesn't your zoo at least have a Triceratops?
I think the picture you used for this uTube video is the one you should use. It's hilarious!!! What a happy enjoyable video, love the dogs and kudos to you for giving them a GOOD life, the kind every dog in existence deserves.đŸâ€đŸ
Ah, hahahahahaaaa! So, what Doby? You wanna chase the kitty cat? Huh? You wanna chase that cat?
Nah, youâre okay. I guess youâre a good ole dog.
This was a cute video
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it đ
