He comes from Chechnya, my home country. He is great but unfortunately he is one of the elite russian lifters who is on steroids. He got banned from competitions.
@@mowgaz3439 & @Lil Pimp EVERYONE takes steroids to compete in IWF, WWC, Olympics etc. , not just Apti. You can't even get LAST PLACE without steroids.
@@koualee4645 Exactly. His left elbow bent and then straightened out again. It was a clear press-out and the judges should have called it a missed lift.
cause the pressout rule is subjective garbage and the fact that they were clearly not ready with the plate loading when he got up there so he had to pace around the platform before this lift
man these judges were something else here. Okulov's third CJ attempt should probably be no lift due to pressout (left arm bending), and yet they no-lifted apti's third attempt. beautiful competition nonetheless
A slower replay by someone else (Floelite I believe) shows that it does, ever so slightly. How the judge actually saw that and called it is beyond me...
+Troy Obillo If you mean the third one, he "adjusted" the bar placement on his shoulders when he caught the bar during the clean; you can see him kind of lower his elbows when he catches the bar and then raise them right after, which slightly pushes the bar up.
I think he means his second snatch attempt, which they probably gave no lift for press out ( in my opinion it should be 3 whites, it wasn't really that bad )
Why tf did Rostami go up in weight after 218? 218 would have tied and hed have won since he was lighter than Okulov. THis mans weight selection is terrible
total blown call on apti's third attempt, you can't convince me his elbow touched his leg
I don't think Rostami's was legit either, he's pulled some stuff on stage before, but I don't think that was a touch
Gravity was tilted back that day.

I love Apti

@@mowgaz3439 when he's not on steroids he looks extremely weak he struggles to do a 145 snatch when he's not drugged

What did Rostami and that Russian lifter do? Why did they buzz the buzzer before they dropped the bar during the front squat?
Judges were so generous with Okulov on his last attempt
No shaking of elbows and had full control of the bar the whole time. He also waited for buzzer. Sounds like a good lift to me.
I dunno his left arm though

Bad judging. Plenty of suspicious snatches and CJs got passed in this event. Thankfully Omirtay made 200kg on the later attempt.

At the end of the day, calls happen. Some bad, some good, some missed.

he has a huge ego, thinks he's better than everybody and makes bad weight choices all the time. that's mainly why he wont be in the tokyo 21
Maybe he wanted to increase time between attempts so he could rest longer
Казах в первой попытке чисто толкнул 200! А ему незасчитали очень важную попытку, дурдом а не судьи!
Why was Kianoush's lift of 218 not accepted? What is going on
The barbell fell behind, this is no lift. You have to drop in front.
@@muffliato100 it doesn't matter where the bar falls after the buzzer. He didn't hold the lockout for enough time before the buzzer would be called.
@@toximan2008 no the buzzer occured before he dropped it, which was good. he only messed up dropping behind. you cant drop behind
