Not all play features are created equal.... 00:00 Intro 00:39 Play Features can be USELESS? 01:10 Number Three 02:46 Number Two 04:51 Number One 07:46 Outro
We all know that the most useless play features are all the stud and spring loaded shooters, the risk of loosing those pieces was so high that I didn't use it even as a kid
😂😂 Same though. One time I lost a spring-loaded shooter piece down a vent in the floor and I did not stop crying until my uncle who was visiting took off the vent and reached down to retrieve it.
I disagree with spring loaded, I actually had a lot of fun with those. Stud shooters... yeah, I'm really happy they brought back normal blasters back for figures.
The cannon moving would be sick. If i would be playing with my brother back then it would look so cool and wouldnt break the immersion. Now im watching the rocket part. oh uh
In my opinion, the set 75137- Carbonite freezing chamber has the most useless play feature. Hidden uder the main platform, there is something like a lever, that moves a brick in a certain way. This is so useless that most people (me included) don't even know what it is supposed to mean😂.
I know exactly what youre talking about. I think its either supposed to be the torture device used on Han Solo in cloud city, or its the bed that slides out of the wall in the prison, but regardless, its so bad that its unrecognizable.
Really? I always thought you could at least pretend that it’s an engine room or something. Albeit a really bad engine room, lol. Yeah, the flaps are kinda amusing.
The cannon looks cooler when it moves autonomously. I kinda do have the Umbaran Cannon. It came disassembled in a box of Legos I was given for free 5 years ago from a 16 year old who was done with his Legos. I have never assembled it as it may be missing some pieces and Ahsoka and the clone trooper weren’t included. Should I still build it regardless?
i had the umbaran heavy canon when i was a kid and when i was making stopmotions i used it to move the canon in a video instead of frame by frame as i could move the cannon without having my hands visable in the frame. so it had a niche use for me
I guess the lever on the tank was to make the cannon look like it was spinning on its own to add to the “coolness” and storytelling factor for kids? Idk I never owned the set
To be honest, I kind of disagree with the umbarian cannon play feature placement. I am always for any play features that hide movement of certain parts. However, I do think it could have been done in a bettee way.

yea I would just shoot them at pillows so that they don’t bounce off as much

😂😂😂 You may report to the launchpad at 0600 hours.
I had the Umbaran Tank as a kid and I even disassembled the lever thing because I thought it looked stupid
Lol.

Oh really? I don’t own that one so it didn’t come to mind when I was making this video but I’ll have to watch a review or something now. 😂

And all Lego scalpers and resellees
Honestly the umbaran MHC cannon feature isn’t all that bad compared to the 2014 AT-AT’s front and back flaps
Really? I always thought you could at least pretend that it’s an engine room or something. Albeit a really bad engine room, lol.
Yeah, the flaps are kinda amusing.
I always dismanteled my e-webs and storaged them (somehow) in the at-at storage thing. So invaluable for me XD
😂🤣 That’s impressive.

Go for it.
About the AT-AT animation, they always just show things the set can do, that aren't necessarily play features, just a thing that's possible
Exactly.
I had the umbaran MHC and I legitimately cannot remember it being there on the set and/or ever using it. Like wow
On that last set, if I had it I would use the lever if I was making a cool “scene”
That rocket animation was very nice.

That's actually super clever.
I had the canon as a kid and I honestly really loved the play feature. It was so damn cinematic back then!
Aha! Now we know who to send off into space... 😈😆

I think the thing on the bottom is ment to be used as a pov of you shooting things without your hand in the way
The canon thing is great, it’s makes the top of it look like it’s moving on its own. Could easily attach technic to it to extend it.
Ah, fair enough. I wouldn’t have been creative enough as a kid to do that. 😆

Awesome video
Wow 19. That’s a lot older than 12
Wait i thought you were in your late 30's, not 12 at the time of the sequels relese lmao (unless im missing something)
Nah dude, I’m still a youngin. Just barely turned 20 a few months ago.
I think it wasn't a play feature and more to show what the inside looked like. Kinda like the hood of the car you know?
It's a good way to think about it for sure, that's kinda how I chose to look at it.
#1 😂 I 100% agree. Too funny.
The newer AT-AT is kind of the same way
It at least has a storage for the speeder in the back, doesn't it?
@crazydog1750 Yes, but the front still does it and it looks a little goofy, it's not as bad though
👍👍
i think the recent mechs are way more useless and just incrediblly terrible
it’s literally a toy
