An Extremely Useful EEG

EEG provides an extension of the neurological examination. It is one of the most useful tool available to clinicians as well as researchers to study the brain activity as well as in clinical decision making. In this EEG I review an EEG that helped clarify epileptic from non-epileptic events leading to optimal treatment of this individual.

I’m interested about effects of autoimmune inflammation (esp. COVID) on EEG. As a very healthy 75 year old I had a first ever seizure with COVID, then an EEG with troubling spikes a few weeks later. I’m looking for reporting or insights about dynamics in that realm. Thanks if you have any tips.

No, you need a CT scan or an MRI.
