Hi Michael. As a fellow VW Kampervan A/T owner I find it interesting to see what you have done to enhance your van. My improvements have mainly been on the inside, including upgrading the inverter to run the air conditioning off grid. I agree the fridge seemed on the small side but after 20,000 kms we have found it quite adequate. We did buy a great little 18l Brass Monkey (which fits under the table) when the 12v house battery system failed early on but haven't had to use it since. Makes a good celler though :). Yes the fridge does seem to get by. We run out of water daily so topping up on a little food isn’t too much of a pain.
I don’t really use the inverter.. only occasionally to plug in a guitar amp to practice on !
I carry the 2.2KVA generator only in the summer months. I bought an additional side mozzie net so that helps with air flow on warm nights.
Tomorrow I’ll post a new video with more work done. It’s finally really taking shape 👍🏼
