“My darling, all that I am I give to you and all that I have I share with you” Blessed Be the great bridegroom Christ Jesus ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
That was a sound theological exposition of What is justification. Thank you Michael Reeves.
'Here I Stand', says Luther, 'and rejoice in hope of the glory of God' (Rom.5:2). 'That I may win Christ', I count every thing of 'gain to me' as sheer 'dung'!!! O that proud men Today would be meeked by this 'grace' and 'so great salvation' in Christ 'our exceeding great reward' and Lord!
Such a strengthening for me, thankyou for strong meat
Praised God. Wonderful exposition
Amen! Scripture alone, without men's fallible phrasing, gives us the victory (overcoming faith) in Christ Jesus, 'because the love of God' is poured out in our hearts, and we are 'saved in Christ's life', being reconciled by His death, and 'now justified in His blood'. Such grace 'did much more abound'!!!
Bottom line: 'A mighty fortress is our God'! our 'Justifier' and Saviour and Lord.
Wonderful Gospel!

Luther did not escape. He was let by by Charles as he had promised him safe conduct and honored his word. Luther then went on to spew antisemitic filth throughout Northern Germany. Stared a long tradition of hate that lasted to the 1940s. Hardly a man to celebrate. Looking at things now the Emperor Charles had hit the nail on the head.
