One thing they shouldn't have gotten rid of is the 2.0 4cyl. That engine was potent and perfect match for this vehicle.
Very pretty SUV. Especially in the Denali trim with the slate gray exterior and beige interior colors. It's definitely on my short list along with the new 2022 Nissan Rogue.

The best engine the Terrain had was the 2.0 which they got rid of after 2020. In favor of the 1.5 as the sole and only engine. It was a TERRIBLE move by GMC. They could have at least kept the 2.0 as an extra "cost option" or made it standard on the Denali trim. It put out 252hp and 260lbs torque. As opposed to 175hp and 203lbs torque for the 1.5. I hope they bring it back in 2024 and later models. Especially, when other car manufacturers are offering 2 or 3 different engine choices. Nissan for example took a HUGE gamble going with a 3cyl turbo but it puts out 200hp and 225lbs torque. And it's paying off big time for them. Bottom line is if they don't bring back the 2.0 because of cost issues etc...They have too increase the HP on the current 1.5. Because 170-175 is not cutting it. Honda's CRV puts out 190hp they could easily do that mated to the 203lbs torque. You'd be surprised folks what 20 extra HP will do for this vehicle.
My husband is a large man. Is this roomy enough for tall, long, wide men ?
Well the vehicle is roomy but I will strongly recommend to stop by us or go to the nearest GMC dealership for him to make sure he is comfortable in it.

I purchased this beautiful vehicle. Unfortunately, the front driver and passenger seats are too close. I FEEL as though I can drive the car from the passenger seat.
I absolutely love EVERYTHING else about the vehicle.
I decided to trade it for a larger 5 seat SUV.

Can you tell me if there is an easy button for changing radio stations - I have worn out two radios in my car because I use the search button on the radio all the time - this is a deal breaker for me as I am thinking seriously about a GMC SUV but need this feature - Cheers
Sure you actually can change your radio stations by voice command or in your left hand behind the steering wheel they help you up and down buttons will allow you to change radio stations or songs if they are playing from an app very easily. I hope this answers your questions.

@@XplorEB Their should be two tabs on either side of the headrest. Just push them in and pull up too remove the headrest.

Hyundai and Kia now have heated and ventilated seats in the back, come on GM, you can do better than this! I'm a loyal GM buyer but you got to catch up with what other companies are doing for the lower price and more features!
