    I noticed your ferns. I am a plant collector and have a beautiful selection of ferns and monstera as well as calethias. However, other than my macho ferns, my kimberly queens HATE everything I do. Can you offer some advice to me? I have them near a humidifyer, they get perfect light, and I still mist them but, the tips of the fronds always dry and break off even when the leaves themselves look fine. What do I do?

    • @Urbanscapegardening
      @Urbanscapegardening  Před 2 lety

      I guess u need to reduce the misting...bright light is the key to a good fern

    Hello I bought my Swiss cheese plant a few weeks back and I watered it the first time I got it and it took a lot of water so I hung it up and I haven’t watered it since. I’ve been spraying it with water but the tips of the leaves are turning brown/yellow? What do you think I’m doing wrong is it too much water? Or is it root rot? should I change out the pot completely?

    • @Urbanscapegardening

    Hi
    I am repotting the monstera which had been grown in red soil and its growth was sparse for years.i have cut it down as it was just leggy abd some leaves at the bottom.
    Saw one root coming out from the bottom.
    Could it be rootbound?
    Do i remove the complete red soil in water and use and plant it again in new soil?
    Pls advise

    • @Urbanscapegardening
      @Urbanscapegardening  Před 2 měsíci +1

      No just tease the roots and in the new pot use a well draining mix with cocopeat and compost
