It's pretty expensive here in the US. The Discipline mask is $62 US which is around 45 gbp. Kerastase is just so good though. I started with the Nutritive line but I need more frizz control for my coily hair so I'm getting the Discipline line. I straighten my hair regularly.
I love the hair cut on you. You look so chic! I have relaxed hair, and I love to use Kerastase products. I have several products from Kerastase that I use. From this line, I use the cleansing conditioner if I wash my hair midweek. It cleans and moisturizes the hair all in one step. I also don’t leave deep conditioners on for a long time. In my opinion, quality products work in the time specified.

Be sure you only to buy it from a hair salon or the original kerastase, because there are fakes being distributed. I compared my set to the ones from original website and I found out those were some cheaply made dupe stuff. It also smelled cheap and was a waste of a lot of money.
I know all too well about the hormonal changes. It is a shock to the mind, body and spirit. You look amazing with the new cut. So bouncy and chic 😊

Vilma, my name is Cleopatra and I am from a country called Zimbabwe. I began watching you years ago to learn from your curly hair tutorials. I fell in love with your curly hair. I was at a stage in my life where I wanted to embrace the hair GOD blessed me with instead of constantly blow drying it. In hindsight, I realise the way my hair was had a lot to do with what I was doing to it and wrong product. I was constantly dyeing it, and blow drying it, causing it to become almost straw like. Dye really played havoc on my hair and to tame it I was doing things to it that was made it look even worse. I then began to study the science of hair and decided to move from chemical dyeing to henna. However, I realised that If anything alters the colour of your hair then it must have some sort of chemical in it. I would spend hours doing a dye with henna and in fact my life began to revolve around it. Nooooo. Thank goodness for blogs such as Science-y hair, I learned a lot and then took the plunge and embraced my frizzy AND greying hair. What a relief. Long story short, Im full on grey and wearing it, like you, both curly and blow dried. So I just want to tell you that this hairstyle is absolutely gorgeous on you. I love it! And I love that you are embracing your grey hair too. Beautiful Vilma. Ive always worn my hair pixie short like Halle Berry. Its now past my ears, and I hope that the style and cut you have in this video will suit me too. Thank you for your videos to help and inspire people like myself.

I have very similar hair texture as your my hair is very curly and if I dry it with a round brush it looks very similar to yours. I found you are very beautiful, I think if your hair doesn't curl anymore its because this line is a kerastase keratine based and it kind of makes your hair straight. I am Dominican 🇩🇴 btw
Hello lovely. Thank you so much for your message!! At the time of this video I was going through some health issues such as anemia and my hair started changing. I don’t disagree with the fact that this line also helped loosen my curl pattern but only when using to straighten it. My curl pattern has totally come back now and it’s SUPER LONG🤩! I have curly natural thick hair that tangles alot and bothers me because its always dry (could also be because I dyed it alot) but I just never buy drug store hair shampoos or just try not to because I feel like it doesn't matter how expensive it is when I get it in the drugstore it makes my hair feel even more dry so I avoid buying drugstore low end or at all because there is just no comparison to what I get from products like kerastase. High end products just always did their purpose to me so I don't mind spending more coins when I get great results

I enjoyed this video I have had this line for a year now. (I just opened them) I don’t have the last two items that you have the leave in conditioner or that oil I do have the mask the shampoo and the rents out conditioner and the Glosser on that line. But I was watching this to use the mask I guess my hair is similar to yours people think I have a perm but it’s not it’s years of training and probably honestly being heat trained. For US dollars these products are very pricey compared to what people get they are usually I think 30 and $60 apiece. Which is a big difference from maybe 15 or $20 at the max for peoples favorite products. Any xtra feedback you can give me would be greatly appreciate it

Yes it’s a beautiful feminine scent! I buy the line pretty much for that reason lol but the products work better than most. I gotta find a fragrance exactly like this! It’s just so good

I have heard kerastase products are good..but all their shampoos contain sulphates..are they good on our hair??
If you prefer sulphate free shampoo, then regardless of the brand, you will not enjoy or want to use these on your hair. This line is not made for natural hair. It's made for who wants to style their hair straight or has a much looser curl to wavy/straight hair and to minimise frizzy. I don't personally believe suphates are damaging to my curl pattern. 20 years ago we had none of the sulphate free products and my curls were still nice. I got alot of complements. My bathroom had 3 products. Now with the natural boom...I have 20 products....and my hair at times comes out rubbish lol... it's all about what works for you😉

Vilma, could you please do a tutorial on how you achieved this hairstyle? Ive been growing out my pixie since last year and Im really struggling to find tutorials for short hair.
I also wanted to mention that I tried the Kerastase Oleo cream last year when I styled it curly but it turned my hair into a giant frizz ball. Probably an ingredient in there that my hair does not like. Someone wrote on another upload that its best to buy products according to the porosity of our hair. I have a South Indian frizzy, pouffy, texture. that is both wavy and curly. Strange though, now that its grey, its not at all coarse but so soft. For me personally, continuous dyeing of my hair really messed my hair.
Now that you are embracing your grey hair, do you use a different shampoo? Is there a need to?

Vilma, I was wondering whether you have tried the Curl Ideal mask from the Discipline line... I bought both masks, maskeratine and curl ideal, not tried yet, though. I have other products to finish first (otherwise, too many products open and going bad). Another thing I'm curious..whether you stock up on products you love. I got this 'bad' habit because brands insist on discontinuing my favourites😫 and last, but not least..please, forgive my many comments. I hope you don't get upset with me.
Lulu, ask as many questions you need. Unfortunately I have not tried the curl version. I no longer stock up anything as my bathroom looked like my own private corner shop lol. I only buy when I need to. It saves me money 😅

You can buy a 1 litre sulphate free bottle which is around £40 so much better value for money and it lasted me a whole year

Hello, on INCI Beauty application i scanned the discipline Kerastase shampoo and it’s noted 0/20 with strong penalty. I would like to know what do you think about that please ? As this video is from 4 years I need to know of you still use it now and if it is still good ?
Hi Farah. That score is pretty bad😩. I have not used this line in 3 years but I still use the thermo leave in. It’s not that I don’t like the line, it’s because I now wear my hair mostly curly. For this is prefer natural products or I use the Kerastase Nutritive products
Vilma, I got the Discipline mask online and I question now if it is real. Could you double check if the bottle has an invisible sticker with the name printed on it or if it is imprinted in the plastic bottle? Also, the white lid has a K or the whole word Kérastase?

Hi, no…you can totally use them and let your hair air dry but realistically, I only used them when blow drying my hair

Eu já fui operada e agora é seguir em frente. Os nossos cabelos podem mudar um pouco de textura de 7 em 7 anos. Os meus caracóis realmente alargaram...e muito!! Mas eu aceitei a mudança e agora estico mais o cabelo. Tambem não faço keratin há mais de 8 anos...mas adorava o resultado
