- Back again with more multiplayer Scrap Mechanic! Today we are trying to build submarines and race them through a custom underwater course! We haven't tried to build a submarine before so it should be a very interesting challenge!

Hi Kan, I was thinking a cool future multiplayer Monday challenge would be building box cars, e.g cars that can fold up into a box as it adds another layer to the challenge and would be quite cool if you had to use the function as part of the race like you start with it folded up and need to unfold it to start e.t.c
Or drive trough box shaped holes... idk would be funny
@@lilpain520 yeah that a really good idea, the weals could be retractable so they have to be inside at the start then the whole box folds out and then back in for the holes?

Nice vid, I think y'all should do a vid on building the best spud gun propelled vehicles, maybe even a SPUD GUN ENGINE
Your sawblade comment gave an idea: Underwater resource collecting, wood resource bars float and im pretty sure rocks and metals dont, so you will have to make a submarine that can bring the stuff to a refinery bot on the shore.
I'm happy they mad a submarine race in Scrap Mechanic. If I remember correctly I subjected that in one of their videos. Keep up amazing work guys.

actually, underwater treecutting would be interesting too with the way the trees would float up making it more difficult to gather or process down to logs collectible by resource collector

Kan came up with a great idea underwater submarine tree cutting/lumberjacking
Idea: 2v2 evaluation boat battle one team mate build the gun/turret the other builds the boat
They did that, in trail makers.

hey kAN i know this is an old vid but your videos on trailmakers n scrapmechanic makes me want to get them... i considered it alot of times.. but rewatching your vids again n again i realize i cant hv as much fun as you guys do.. keep it up kAN.. love your contents
i have a suggestion make a fuel limited race with no pretest and only a small amount of fuel for a long distance race see who finishes first and who goes the furthest

I like how there's moonbow and scrapman and then Kan: look at those rocks an S bend.
I would love to see a PT2 of this with proximity bombs, with basically tnt with sensors with only 5 block range and neutrally buoyant so you have to navigate the bombs
Add torps and battle it out next time. One of you could be a destroyer and drop mines in the water.

Can you do evolution challenge in Scrap Mechanic? Or does making a vehicle in SM take too long?
They could but they would have to have instead of the 1 or 2 minutes like 5 minutes instead, I literally thought about it at the start of this video since they did the sub races in the other game as well. With building in scrapmechanic you have to place everything by yourself and make all the engines and thrusters work on buttons and switches and such so its harder to build quickly.
Some of Kans old builds on Scrap mechanic took him several hours to build, then again they were also huge compared to what they would build now i think.

How about you guys have a mini racing league where you build cars for each other. If someone wins then the driver gets a point and the constructor gets a point hence at the end you get a racing champion and a construction champion

kkan, i want to see if u can create a piston powered walker, but u are not allowed to just make the legs with pistons. u can only use the 4 piistons in the piston engine. make a mechanissm or something llike that that lets the walker walk by only using the piston engine andd some mechanisms.

If no one else made this comment, it does actually make some sense that the bathtub is so buoyant. Most tubs are hollow, just like most toilets. The only thing that I'm not clear on is whether it should be more buoyant or less. I'm not an engineer or scientist after all.
