CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Dan (Michael Douglas) defies Alex's requests (Glenn Close) and threatens to kill her if she tells his wife about their affair.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
"Fatal attraction" has become a household term for love turned to murderous obsession, thanks to the success of Adrian Lyne's 1987 movie. Dan (Michael Douglas) is a family man whose one-night affair with Alex (Glenn Close) turns into a nightmare when she insists on continuing the relationship, claiming to be carrying his baby. Alex systematically terrorizes Dan, even temporarily kidnapping his daughter, in her attempts to win back his affection. Douglas' besieged family man guiltily tries to preserve his marriage and family from the consequences of his own indiscretion. Close's performance as the love-struck psycho-siren remains her signature role: She conveys the buried feminist message of the film in her challenge to Dan to take responsibility for his sexual behavior. Though many critics acknowlegded the film's striking similarities to Clint Eastwood's 1971 film Play Misty for Me, Fatal Attraction spawned numerous other movies about middle-class families besieged by a lone psychotic intent on infiltrating and destroying the fabric of the family unit, including The Stepfather (1987), Pacific Heights (1990), The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992), and Fear (1996).

The quality of acting in the 80s was amazing.
two of the finest of their generation
I adore with how much empathy Glenn Close played that role. In an interview she said she understood the character as a sad, lonely person who needed love.
He’s just as bad though.
@@dewilew2137 They're both terrible.
Right, and that justifies stalking, animal cruelty, kidnapping children and trying to kill the lover's spouse just because your lover no longer wants to be with you.
@@magallanesagustin4952 playing the role with empathy doesn't mean justifying the characters actions, at all! A good actress needs to understand her character which is precisely what Glenn Close did, and that is why she palyed the role so well.
That's a very strange sort of love 🤪
She may be nuts but there is a lot of truth in what she says.
I agree, and that’s no accident. Society paints truth speakers as insane, and sometimes actually drives them insane
Yes and No
Alex was going too far
I think she was already sick in her head before she knew Dan
@@blackswan4486 I told the absolute truth for one year and people treated me worse than the plaque. it was a interesting experiment and yes they thought I was absolutely crazy too.
not really, she knew he was married, what did she expect?
She still got involved with a married man. She also boiled a rabbit alive. Take the rabbit scene out and you might have a thought provoking film about both characters being equally flawed individuals, but the film also works great as a pure horror flick where crazy be-otch is crazy.
"I'll tell your wife..." For some reason, the way Glenn Close delivered that line so matter-of-factedly is horrifying.
Lol,Yes
She should
Don’t cheat guys
Yes, she's a psycho, but in this case here, she's right, isn't she? In case she's really pregnant, it is her right to inform his wife. Dan has a social security entitlement, too. He's also responsible for her child and he has to support her financially. That's the law.
@@kleinhocico9915 this scene was after she was at his apartment with his wife. She could have told her long ago but liked having that leverage over him
How in God's name did Glenn Close not get an Oscar for this role is beyond words.
couldn't agree more
Fred Kester I agree Glenn deserved the Oscar.
She's an amazing actress indeed.
oscar isn't the biggest thing in any actor's life, if he had no talent the oscar won't help him
DogDaybreak I think the attitude during that era, may have felt had she won they would have somehow be glorifying a woman who cheated with a married man, and kidnap his kid, destroyed his property and harassed his innocent wife. What other reason would you overlook her, and give it to Cher for Moonstruck.
"I'm not gonna be IGNORED, Dan!" One of the absolute creepiest lines ever.
My favorite line
It kinda gives me the chills.
Well he kind og deserves it
Alex F Just accept the consequences. I’ve done the same as him...
Not Creepy, it resonates
Don't cheat. Just be happy with your life, have some warm milk after dinner, go to bed early. You avoid a lot of problems that way.
😀👍
Where's the fun in that? The chaos is where the excitement is.
@@glong86 That is true but after awhile, the chaos is no longer fun anymore.
I bet my husband now would agree to this post!!!!!
🤢warm milk?... 🤮
The acting in this movie is outstanding. This really makes a person think about cheating and what the outcome could be.
Yes it does. It's.not worth the headache. I've been on both ends.
It doesn't even have to be cheating.... It could just be a one night fling
@@gamesmoney1025 thats still cheating lol

She is an incredible actress.
Yes, she did a fantastic job.
She really was
She is a legend.
They are both incredible in this it's definitely a classic.
OMG yes..I was so lucky to catch her in the revival of Sunset Blvd a few years ago when it was on Broadway, It was nothing short of amazing getting to see her on stage.
Her expression when she said 'I'm not going to be ignored'.... hands down, one of the creepiest (realistic) things I've seen in movies in my life. THAT's how good Glenn Close was.
1:55 - “IT ONLY TAKES A PHONE CALL!”
I love ❤️ that line.
I love that line because you half expect him to storm after her and....well, you know ☠️, but he doesnt.
You see kids. This is what used to happen before social media when you tried to "ghost" somebody.
If the somebody was a psychotic killer.
@@charlesm7589 Both were psychotic actually.
@@user-fw1hj3vv2k Well, not really. He may have problems telling the truth, (cheating on his wife) but he is fully in contact with reality.
Alex, on the other hand, seems to be seeing and hearing (he loves her and they will be together) something other than reality. Not wishing for it, actually thinking that something unreal is real. Textbook psychosis.
everybody points her but what about the unfaithful husband?
sure it's never the man's fault
Well he didn't attempt to murder anyone and she did, kind of a big difference.
You have a point. But nah her obsessive ways were far too much. She was well aware that it was just a fling.
I'm a Man and I soo agree, I would bet it was written by a Man.
She's a sociopath lures weak men in and like a tick she just doesn't let go of her prey they're both to blame here
"I will not be ignoooooooored Dan", lol. I love that part. But I won't pity the guy. Even as a cheater, he wasn't very smart... And so hypocritical about it.

***** Nah, it's just your brain that did ;)
***** Tell it to yourself.
***** Yeah, you should consider a refund for this "how to make good comebacks" class, you took yesterday...
what a disgusting man you are
I know it's obvious her character was crazy, but his character was messed up. How's he going to act as if nothing really happened between them. Tell her to kill her baby, then cast her aside as if he paid for her time. He cared nothing really for her but acted like a loving, empathic, and moral husband and father. !!!???
RIGHTT
It was just a one night stand tho
@@adeadpoet4221 OK SO WHAT SHE WAS STILL PREGNANT AND HE WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE A RESPONSIBILITY
She knew the deal beforehand!!! And she claimed she would be discreet yeah right !
He doesn't love his wife either. His wife is just a business front to make him look good professionally
That was so creepy!! "I am not going to be ignored Dan"... I have chills.
What I love about films like "Fatal Attraction" and later "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate" is the theme is the same: don't play with people's emotions. You never know if you are dealing with someone stable or otherwise... and even if they are stable, you can break someone and a broken person can become unpredictable. Always best to let someone know up front what the deal is between the two of you and even then, be careful.
Well said.
Very true 👍
I don't think he played with her emotions though, she played with her own emotions. He didn't break her, she already was broken.
He was upfront.
In thin line between love and hate...Martin lied to Lynn....in this movie he was upfront...she knew he was married. But she messed with him anyway. So that was on her. Am not saying he's not to blame but she walked in on knowing she messed with a married man. And she just assumed he was gonna stay with her...that's not how it goes.
Glenn Close performance in this film she deserved the Oscar over Cher she was robbed!
Andrew Simpson everyone knows that. I love Cher but MoonStruck was one of the most overrated films ever. Cher only won because she was Cher. The academy totally over looked talent and character.
Because the Oscars are all political, has NOTHING to do with the actual performance!
Moonstruck was a good movie but Cher was not the best actrees of that year. That Oscar should have been for Glenn Close. But, of course the Academy loves DRAMA and Cher had Meryl Streep's support (it's just a personal supposition).
Yeah Helen Hunt (As Good as it Gets) taking Oscar that belonged to Kate Winslet (Titanic) was almost as egregious but Cher over Close was just criminal. That scene where Close keeps turning the light on and off just captured her loneliness/rejection unforgettable performance
real talk!
This movie was so well done its just timeless and still relevant today. The clothes, the decor of the houses everything. But how come Glenn Close didnt get an award? She was amazing.
She should have won best actress hands down
To me this movie illustrates what it's like to be alone for so long that you don't really understand what you are missing. So the loneliness is tolerable. Then when you do get a taste of a real connection...it's a ray of sunshine and hope. Then if that sunshine is taken away...that sad place you live in is now even sadder cause you have been recently reminded of just what you're missing out on in life and there is no way to force it back. That can be unbearable for many. Even if Dan was single and still rejected her, I believe it would be the same outcome for her. I always argue this movie isn't about cheating as much as it is about rejection.
With all due respect, I disagree. She knew he was married and slept with him anyway. Losers sleep with married people.
I love how she slings the phone across the room with that strained look on her face. Glenn is an INCOMPARABLY good actress!
Mark Brown Glenn, Oprah, Viola, Meryl, and Farrah Fawcett!!!! The Burning Bed!!!! They melt into their roles.
Glenn Close is an extraordinary actress...
Yeah much agreed she's amazing.
if u look at her face from the nose up..while she is telling Dan what is there to be afraid of..she looks just like actress Helen Hunt...
+Barbara Adler I agree.
my friend Piper is shooting a series with Helen and says she is very nice. It's called Shots Fired.
my favorite actress too.
Men like him, who lovingly kiss his wife and child goodbye to go visit family, and a home, and he takes that time to play around. Telling his wife he has to work, when he doesn't. Instead he has a 48 hour affair, salsa dancing, running in park, intimate drink, i feel for his wife so, the only reason he had to tell her is because his other woman was a kook. If she was not a basketcase, he would have never said a word.
Yep that's messed up
Plus he wanted to kill his unborn child. Let's not forget that...
It takes two to tango.
Neither one is blameless in this type of situation.
Still, men should always remember this good advice:
"Never put your d*** in crazy".
Dan is totally at fault for what happened with Alex. He *chose* to cheat on his wife and Alex never made him do it. And then he acts like he's the victim and has done nothing wrong and won't man up when it is clear that he knocked up Alex. She only wanted him to help her take care of the baby by giving her some money.
I’m not going to be ignored Dan! I love that line. Also the part where she threatens to tell his wife.
This woman deserves an Oscar. She’s come so....Close.

😂😂Pun Intended?😂😂
Duh, wink!
I can't name a better actress.
Max A. Genius pun

How the fuck could Glenn's powerhouse of a performance lose the Oscar to Cher? She was very good in Moonstruck, but nothing on Glenn in this legendary role that STILL has people talking about it. Glenn was robbed in '88 and '89.
SethBlizzard Yes, she's superb!
The Douglas character was just about as bad as the psycho woman. Guilty of cheating on his wife, breaking and entering, and assault and battery.
Can't believe he never got thrown in jail!
Yes
I wanted him to die in the movie. I think there was an alternative cut where Alex kills Dan and herself, or something like that.
Jay R. Rivera yeah she killed herself and framed him for her murder. He got arrested at the end. I prefer the original ending
@@bryanalstoncoxing sounds like poetic justice. Maybe they'll release a new version with that alternative ending.
This was a gem of a movie. Glenn was spectacular! She should have won accolades for this 🙌 👏

Right? You can feel that she meant every word.
This is a horror movie at it's core, very real can happen to anyone at anytime. That is true horror. Great film.
Um, no it can't "happen" to anyone at "anytime." It can only happen if you are cheating on your spouse. LOL.
Yes but everyone has temptation or that fantasy and even if you are not married, you can meet a crazy woman like this. That is what I mean.
Fair enough.
nice point. Shitty horror movies have monsters. Real horror movies have humans acting on bad instinct to the extreme.
In my opinion the real bastard of this movie is Dan
Glenn deserves an Oscar for this performance.
How did Cher win best actress for “Moonstruck” over Glenn’s role in “Fatal Attraction”? I don’t have nothing against Cher but the academy must have some issues. This role is unforgettable in every way. It’s brilliantly done, and Glenn made the character believable and tantalizing. Her energy and breathing when she dialed that phone. I can’t understand and never will.
The academy doesn't like the most popular films. In the last 30 years only twice has the highest grossing movie of the year won Best Picture (Titanic and Return of the King). In the last decade Best Picture is rare a top 10 film. The academy has got snobby.
Close was untouchable in this role. She dug out your brain while you are alive and ate it, making you watch.
At the same time, I adore every minute of Moonstruck. Just saw it again on a big screen. Cher was wonderful in the role of Loretta, but it was more an ensemble piece. Glenn Close almost did not need another person with her on screen, as she descended into the depths of crazy.
I love how she gives that little head shake after saying "I'm not going to be ignored, Dan." LMAO!
This is what happens when men think with their "little head" instead of their "big head".
Christopher lewis I don't think they can help it unless they're really really ready for fidelity. You have to try and keep your attraction to someone in check.
Actually men think with their big head down below and not the little head above.
So you're blaming the victim. Wonder how your post would be received if the roles were reserved and blamed the woman for being with a psychotic man.
Hey dont put me in your bracket i got 2 big heads lol
@@EraJavukh bruh. he cheated and ignored her when she said she was pregnant. She is worse but he is no victim

As someone who has BPD tendencies...not yet diagnosed, but likely will be. I can see a lot of the BPD symptoms in her. The fear of abandonment, impulsivity, feeling of emptiness and boredom, self harm and suicidal thoughts and actions. Starting to think this film was based on this disorder. Great film and totally relatable for someone who is like this. She obviously was on the more extreme side but displays BPD nonetheless.
she is suppossed to have it and reading you makes me think i have it too lol

The scariest thing is how familiar she was with dialling their phone number.
Well she was a stalker, that’s expected lol
Glenn Close. 6 Oscar nominations and no win. The real villain is the Academy and their Oscars.
Apparently mediocre actresses like Gwyneth Paltrow, Halle Berry, Renée Zellweger and Cher(!) - which is the actress Glenn Close lost to back in 1988 - were more worthy of it.
Don't forget Sandra Bullock, i love her but that Oscar she won...
Glenn acted circles around Cher that year.
Cher was awesome in Moonstruck. People ignore nuance. Not every role is designed to be over the top like Alex in Fatal Attraction. To say she was robbed is a stretch.
Jessie Mann Give it to her!!!!!

How in the world did she lose the Academy Award to Cher ?????

DonQwantsyou Eh, I disagree. No one sucks anyone in. We all make choices and it’s up to us to say no, no matter how tempting. I think she went nuts but Dan was no victim.
he's not an asshole either, she is
Ethan Moreau his wife was the hero. He was the villain, Glenn was the victim, but the wife was the hero because she pulled the trigger and brought it all to an end
yeah the wife was the hero, but Glenn in my view was the dogshit. She sucked in Dan to a relationship he was unsure of, and then when he rejected it, she terrorized his family. In real life she would have been arrested and jailed.
The only unrealistic thing about this scene is Ann Archer picking up on the first ring 🤣

Dan brought it on himself. He cheats on his wife and knocks up another woman and then acts like he’s the victim. If he had just manned up to his mistake and not treat Alex so horribly then maybe she wouldn’t have done the things she did.
She lied about being pregnant. Even though I agree that he brought it on himself by having an affair, she went way too far.
@John Cameron Possibly, but I'm still not sure. If she really was pregnant then he should own up to his responsibilities. However, as you mentioned, I think she wanted more of a romantic relationship with him. They definitely were both in the wrong. Him for cheating, and her for knowing that he was married. However she really had a mental problem. Going after his family, and trying to kill his wife. Also if she was really pregnant are we sure it was his child. She said she doesn't sleep around. But if that's true, then what was she doing with him. A married man.
Of course it's always the man's fault. Feminism really does poison minds

She initiated everything that happened from the start. She lured him into the whole thing and did so under false pretenses. There is no defending him, to be clear-he made the choices he made. But she preyed on him from the beginning. She also did a fake suicide attempt as a means to manipulate him, she kidnapped a child, she killed an animal, she permanently traumatized a child by killing that bunny, she attempted to murder an innocent woman for no reason other than she was married to the man she was obsessed with. 🤷♀️

It's weird how Dan was actually the creepier one in this scene..
Glenn Close in an extraordinary actress! She becomes every character she plays (THE WORLD ACCORDING TO GARP, JAGGED EDGE, FATAL ATTRACTION, DANGEROUS LIAISONS, REVERSAL OF FORTUNE, THE PAPER, HEIGHTS, DAMAGES, ALBERT NOBBS...).
What is it with Michael Douglas and dangerous women Sharon Stone Basic Instinct, Demi Moore Disclosure,

Why did Alex go after Dan only because he rejected her and she didn't like it so she made his life a living hell! I think Alex is a tragic character and her apartment is so white which means death and I think she was dead inside and somehow when she met Dan she came alive then when Dan played with her emotions she didn't like it! This is what happens when you mess with people's emotions and their heads! Don't fuck with crazy and he put himself into this situation! I hope you're a women, this chick is batshit crazy
derekeugene1987 She is mental and normal adult women don't act like her. I once knew someone like her, and they don't know how to love or have even a friendship in return. I tried to help someone like her, she would call early in the morning and eventually I had to change my phone number. We all tried to help, but she would never take responsibility for anything she did. Women must be responsible too for what they do.
derekeugene1987 He didn't play with her emotions. He let her know that he was married and that it was a one time thing. She's the one who got caught up. If you're going to commit adultery, don't get caught up. You don't have dib's. The wife has the ring and his last name.
If you have actually seen the entire film and this is your genuine assessment (he was playing with her emotions, etc.), then that is a bit scary.

Ricky Renner
There were 21 thumbs down when I posted the comment.
*****
The number of crazy stalkers is rising.
Hooptie Hamburger Its Feb.2017 & now 104 people will not be ignored.
The way she had his wife’s phone memorized 😳
Glenn to the academy: I'm not going to be ignored!
WHAT RESPONSIBILITIES!!!!!??? Dan knew he was married he knew exactly what he was doing. Alex not married. The difference is she had nothing to lose but he had his wife and child to lose. (everything) He chose the affair, he betrayed his wife and child, cheated on his wife and child and on top endangered his family. Yeah Alex "feels him, tastes him, thinks him" (Psycho) but its also sad seeing her left out and alone like that. He made a huge mess without knowing how to clean up after himself. Also his wife forgives him maybe because of the child but some women wouldn't tolerate that kind of shit and leave the asshole alone miserably for the rest of his life. But I would kill someone who kidnapped my kid cuz thats messing with my baby. Anyway. His selfish fault and her psychoness. I'd leave them both fighting it out till they kill each other. Glenn Close deserved the Oscar.
Wojtusiek11 Yeah, no messing with the kids!!!! She was such a cutie pie with that short do.
What's pathetic is destroying his life. How can you sink that low? many women pull some form of this harassment when rejected but do they honestly think a man will return to them after something like that?
@@taroman7100 HE was the one who was married. HE broke his vows. Yes she was clearly crazy but it's not always the woman's fault.
Bill Patrick Jones amen 🙏 she thought she was going to share him with the wife..she clearly doesn’t care about them she was sprung and obsessed..
Winnie Johnson haha Alex doesn’t care about his wife. It is ONLY Dan’s responsibility to respect HIS marriage.
I just took a course today about personality disorders! The speaker referenced Glen Close in regards to a classic Sociopath! Very interesting! Michael Douglas’ character looks very similar to a Narcissist personality
1997dree
She’s also Borderline
HELLA PERSONALITY DISORDERS
i completely disagree... michaels character did not protrude in this movies as narcissist at all if anything he was complete opposite of it...
She’s nowhere near a sociopath. Sociopaths are able to distance themselves emotionally. She is the opposite. She feels extra.
Actually she has borderline personality disorder. Look it up. So your classes are garbage. I have a master's in psychology and my professors always said she has bpd
She's so desperate and obsessed. He obviously wants nothing to do with her and she refuses to admit it. That's sad. But then again it's sad he won't accept that she's pregnant and take responsibility. Glenn played this character so perfectly that I actually feel sorry for Alex up until the rabbit scene. She was seriously screwed up and never got the help she needed. As crazy as she was, I still feel for her. Not excusing her actions. It's just sad that she got to this pitiful point in her life.
Its plenty pathetic women out here just like her... With kids .. Its just Not me ... They pathetic
Thar bih was no preganant
I believe that Dan wasn’t the first married man she had pursued because she said all the interesting ones are married. She also admitted to being pregnant the year before and having a bad miscarriage. Alex was a female predator. She played Dan as if she was down for a fling then when he tried to walk away her true self emerged.
@@swagsukeuchiha7599She was pregnant but it was no accident.
I just saw this film again. It's so good. Glenn should so have gotten the Oscar. She was MAGNETIC as Alex.
2:02 Children, that thing that Glenn Close is holding is a landline phone. It was common in 1987.
😅😅😅😅😅
Glenn Close should have won an Oscar for this performance. She was too good.
She maybe crazy but at the same time she not wrong, but fell for a married man. When a sad lonely woman falls for a married man they ignore that when they cheat on there wife whom he promised to love and honor and decides to cheat as an excuse of boredom or weekness is bullshit. Cheating is not a weekness it’s a choice and if he did leave his wife to go be with her chances are he will cheat on her too with the next sad girl he screws.
Such an intense scene, both actors were AMAZING!!! Scared me senseless!!!
It only takes a phone call!!!!!
+Davis Fountain Do you think that would have made for a good phone company ad, lol?
LMAO!!! YASSSS Chris Inkster
Throws the phone away as hard as possible.
Bang bang bang on the phone
Anne Marie Carson clearly it took more than that
"What responsibilities"! Lol! Typical man!
Well, it's not as if I'm defending him, but there was never (realistically) any mention of anything serious between them, let alone a child. It was pretty clear that it was a one-night stand. He even agreed to pay for the abortion earlier im the movie.
He's actually being sensible. She's the one who's completely deluded here.
+missphotography92 What maybe he should have wore a condom. He could've brought his wife home a STD. Facts!!!.
+edgar brown Well, that I agree on. But everything I said still stands.
he had a wife and a child. He wanted to have an affair and he was unlucky. He should have thought earlier
Geez, you people are NUTS. He DID think earlier! He said NO several times, AND WAS SEDUCED.
Flip the roles, and the woman is able to withdraw consent ...
Always loved Michael Douglas ,extraordinary actor
Dan was the real villain.
Mmm-hmm. He didn’t deserve to b first in line! Alex did!
IM NOT GONNA BE IGNORED JAKE!
Saturday Night Live :-)
Gemma lol
YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
I’m here from snl lmao
Forget it, Kellyanne, you made up a massacre. We can't have you on.
Him saying that the child he gave Alex has "nothing to do with him" was probably just because he was a coward and didn't want his wife to find out. That being said, how could you even hope to raise a kid with a mother that unstable to the point that it could harm their child? She shouldn't even be allowed to raise a child unless she gets professional help. He should definitely pay financial support, but he does kind of has the right idea for not wanting to become personally involved in parenting the child because of how ruthless she can be.
DUH, haha
Just don’t cheat…
If you’re not happy… leave..
Michael Douglas was the villain in this movie, hands down.
nope, both of them were the villain
He was pretty unrepentantly selfish and she was already vulnerable, but also cunning enough to string him along, then he wanted to break it off which arguably pushed her into a violent breaking point by his disregard and her own unresolved issues. The wife put a stop to it, so one could argue he was even unwilling to take responsibility right up to the end-but that is a little harsh, I'll admit. Fantastically acted and directed film nonetheless!
They both Crazy
Perfect match
More than thirty years later and people still can cite lines from this movie. Nobody can remember any lines from Moonstruck.
Glenn Close = what an amazing actress.LEGEND
The scene throws the audience into two different directions, like they are trying to see who the real villain is.
Then Alex made herself the villain by boiling the bunny
Glenn Close showed how to be hot and creepy. She is just an incredible actress and her character is unbelievable.
Glenn Glose was robbed of an Oscar in 1988, instead Cher won for Moonstruck. Cher shouldve won for Mask, n Glenn Close for this role, outstanding performance..: )
ebony38ish Yes!!!!!! Mask is awesome and had me with a lump or two in my throat. I can't even watch it sometimes.
" I'm gonna be the mother of your child, I want a little respect" girl cheaters don't respect their wives.,sure as hell not the side chick.
One of the things that bothered me with Fatal Attraction was how easily Dan picked Alex up at that party - or, how easily she picked him up. In either case, he was the one who had the 9 year marriage and the young daughter. Yet, so easy to pick up. That tells me it had happened before while he was married. Michael Douglas said that in Fatal Attraction he cheated on a beautiful wife for a woman not that attractive, so it wasn't Alex's looks. Biggest flaw in the movie, as far as I'm concerned, that they wanted us to believe he cheated only once.
What a mean thing to say about Glenn Close. I’m surprised he didn’t get dragged for that
I think Anne archer is lovely I loved her look in the movie. I didn’t think Glenn was attractive in the movie there weere moments she looked good I think Its her hair it should be on her forehead
They only started it after they met a second time and went to eat together. Not the night of the party.
GLEAN CLOSE WAS ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING N THIS ROLE
another thing interesting is when dan fakes a heart attack and alex says her dad had a heart attack in front of her then says just kidding but later when dan breaks in her place he reads her dad died of a heart attack when she was a kid so it was a true story but she said he was alive and well so dan wouldn't feel so bad..she would hide her emotional pain and try to make dan feel better instead of guilt tripping him until he rejects her then she would guilt him even that didn't work cuz like he says "what responsibilities" he had this huge problem and didn't even realize it... the more he denied it the more OBSESSED she got..her illness worsened the more he denied doing anything wrong and wanting to walk away for good. Very dangerous situation with someone unstable.
I agree, except I don’t think her illness got worse. I think her ability to see the truth, that he was avoiding his responsibility to her and to the unborn baby, was being activated. It’s easy to get “obsessed“ when someone keeps denying the truth and you keep having to show it to them
he was the obsessed one. Obsessed with running away
No, she lied about her father not because of her being afraid to make dan feel guilty she did it because she didn’t want anyone to see a vulnerability in her which ultimately explains her borderline/narcissistic personality . She doesn’t care about anyone but herself. She kidnapped a child and her bunny that is sick!
The yelling is a jump scare.
Really felt sorry for the woman. Poor girl. The man was pure evil and manipulative.
How was he evil? She knew he was married from the Jump she the one that started it saying ‘she can be discreet’. He was very nice to her. As a registered nurse and a married woman I feel his first mistake was sleeping with her of course but the day she cut her wrist he should’ve called 911 they would’ve at least put her some sort of Pysch hold in the hospital.
This is quite funny, maybe all cheaters should get a scare like this, even if it’s just a prank lol
Considering all the infidelity websites out there nothing has changed.
I want to say thanks for all the warm comments and likes... Oh well since I got too many messages over at my blue print account so I decided to isolate myself here and reach at to few of my fans without you I wouldn't have been here today. Kisses 💋 to your lovely heart
