  • Out riding the Yamaha Banshee 350 with my wife on her Raptor 700 Bruiser at the Samoa Dunes Recreation Area. This is a nice little spot to ride your sport quad with a one way direction track to rip up. I didn't ride very fast this trip as I was not familiar with the layout yet but this would be a blast to race on with more experience. We also rode down to the beach which was fun to jump the edge of the tide line. The Banshee and Raptor both ran great the whole trip and we had an awesome time just exploring. There will be a part 2 where we explore the old World War II bunkers.

    Great Video! I was Wondering, How long do Paddle Tires Last?

    • @trailblogger
      @trailblogger  Před 3 lety

      ive had the last set about 5 years. depends if you store inside and how much pavement and gravel you hit with them. keep them on fluffy sand they will last long time

    • @trailblogger
      @trailblogger  Před 3 lety

      it would definitely be a lot faster, ive riddin a buddys 4 mil and it was noticeable difference but also drinks the fuel a lot faster. thirsty bugger

      @@trailblogger i bet it does. but yours runs really nice why do you want to make it 4 mil

    • @trailblogger
      @trailblogger  Před 3 lety

      im going to build a second one 4 mil. stock is cheap and easier to ride on the trails. most of the time im just zipping around the woods, 4 mil kind of overkill... i want one just need to save up some dough.

    Yo trailblogger! How is the paint holding up on the frame of the banshee? Want to do my frame but paint over powder coat is frowned upon.

    • @trailblogger
      @trailblogger  Před 3 lety +1

      it has held up wonderful. the factory powder is a nice base coat lol. i sanded it down really well and wiped with acetone before applying the first layer a few years ago. once it is cooked to 200 F the resin paint i used is very durable and chemical resistant. powder is great but does chip in rocks and resin is a bit more flexible and easier to touch up.

    • @mikedeez5505
      @mikedeez5505 Před 3 lety +1

      @@trailblogger what resin paint did you use? Did you use the same paint for cylinders? High heat paint seems to be limited in colors. Im actually about to rip my motor out in the next few minutes. Think the crank seal is done. Passed leak down but still pours out right pipe. Might as well paint while I'm there

    • @trailblogger
      @trailblogger  Před 3 lety

      yes it is engine enamel same as cylinders. VHT gloss black. same i used previous and it held up well. is chemical resistant unlike most cheap spray paints.
