This video is a little misleading, ant had the flu and wasn’t engaged or shooting at all. Towns took all the shots that Edwards usually takes that’s why he was gassed, normally not that bad at all

It’s hard to do it for 4 quarters. Klay was done after his 37 point quarter. Kerr left him in for a few minutes and then pulled him.
And, Kerr yanked him in the 60 point game through 3 quarters (up by too much).
Klay easily could have done it another quarter, he actually gets his points in the flow of the offense with good shit selection this giving his team a huge lead, unlike Karl

Ant needs to to be more vocal and demand the ball no matter how many points kat has. No one else has the pedigree to do that and they would have had less issues if kat wasn't forcing so much
It was Ant that fed KAT the ball and decided to be passive if he wanted to demand the ball he would’ve. But the whole team was focused on getting KAT to score rather than playing the game

Coach: when I see stuff like the Hornets in the first half failing to shrink the strong side when icing the screen, it makes me wonder if they even work on this stuff in practice. I don't know all that much, and I'm still just learning in my old age. Am I really seeing basic mistakes like this all night, every night? Can it really be this easy for a spectator to critique NBA defense, or am I missing something? Thanks always for your videos.
He does not have the length, so some teams that they play against. Specifically a very long athletic team. Naz will struggle. Solid player nonetheless.

I remember getting frustrated with KAT in last year's playoffs. Every time he had the ball it was a blackhole, and he literally did two things, either shoot or put his head down and drive into people. He got fouled out of the game and couple of them were offensive. 🤨I agree with coach, he will be the one holding them back.

A lot to criticize, but that last shot was an OBVIOUS foul if you watch the replay. All wrist and forearm, didn’t even touch the ball. KAT should’ve been going to the line to win the game.
Refs are going to miss calls against both teams. They had no reason to lose this game. Ant claiming that he is the best and nobody can guard him so why didn't he take over the game. He is a joke.

you missed the part where KAT got his arm completely hacked by leaky black at the end. wolves would have taken lead there instead of the hornets getting points of that supposed turnover. terrible call the refs threw the game. i agree he played bad defense and that's why it was close but you were overly harsh on towns for the complaining at the end it was just a god awful no call. they showed the replay on wolves broadcast he jumped up and karate chopped towns arm/wrist on his way down. towns does not get calls like this far too often with blatant contact

Strong side coverage is where you have plenty of defensive help on one side within the half court. Weak side coverage is where you have the least defensive help on one side within the half court.
Strong side when you are one pass away . When you are on the strong side of the ball you are either on ball or one pass away from the ball. Weak side your 2 or more passes away from the ball.

Live in mn been watching this team since I was a kid. Like the kg days and beyond! Even the Kevin love and pek front court we had! I don’t care how great kat is on offense his discipline on defense as well as hiss effort has always been my gripe! He doesn’t slide his feet so essentially useless on perimeter and he soft in the paint. In the playoff when the game slow down and every position matter and we need stop he not gonna excute
This summer I followed the Dominican Republic pretty closely as they played against Italy in the pools so I got a good look at KAT. I'm telling you, his mindset is just not there I believe. He is very complacent with himself, he almost never has the right body language (you may think that's bs but I think it's actually pretty important) l, he was shrugging off the opposition and he always made that face you do when you think you're in control of the game but he actually never was. The only way the Twolves would be really good with him is if he accepted a Bam Adebayo type role and to stably be a second fiddle to ANT. I don't know if that's gonna happen though. ANT doesn't yet have the pedigree to shut him down in games like these or to push him the way jimmy did, but I could definitely see a Kobe/Shaq dynamic developing in the future, the only difference being that KAT is nowhere near as nasty and as dominant as Shaq was
