The fact that I smile for no reason had me branded as the ever smiling kid in primary school. Even though I wasn't even that happy.
I still smile at people for no reason, even when I'm uncomfortable with the fact that I'm smiling. Also, sometimes just like the people I'm talking to , I have no idea what I'm about to say during a conversation. So when I say something dumb, trust me, we are both surprised.😅
I smile unconsciously all the time, especially when I'm talking to someone. I'll just feel really tight In the cheeks and realize that I've been smiling, proceed to lower the smile, and then wind up smiling again 2 minutes later T-T

Introvert can be talkative by talking about what we love OR when we're comfortable with the interlocutor. If you questioned us like that, we would retrieve to our turtle shell and not coming back for a little bit. A little bit like 6 months. Or 8.

Lol your comment brought unbidden memories to mind xD my colleagues who I've gotten close with so easily (cause we happen to bond over same things) had a hard time believing when I claim to be one cause I'm easily one of the chatterbox in our group (a group of 15 people) and one of those who usually keeps the conversation going. They actually asked me that question (matched with disbelieving looks ofc) 😅
I hate that we even have to have a discussion whether we're really introverts cuz ppl misinterpret that as being so quiet and shut off from the world that they get surprised when we actually talk to people as if we're not normal people with friends too

As an infp people are always telling me that I'm random when I talk but in my mind it all makes perfect sense.
I've been told that as well. It's our intuitive strength at play when we do that. We can connect alot of abstract thoughts together really fast and although it makes sense to us and other intuitive types, sensors get thrown off by it. My boyfriend is an isfp and he can keep up with my randomness most of the time but he gets lost sometimes and has to be like, "hold up...weren't we talking about something else, how did we get here." Lol My bff is an Infj and we totally can keep up with eachother.
I embrace my intuitive side and see it as a strength because I'm a writer and it really helps me to connect a bunch of dots together in order to make a cohesive story.
As an INFP myself, this makes me SO HAPPY.
I have never related so much to two random strangers.
