I just want you to know I can confirm this is 100% genuine Tom. I met him backstage in NYC when he doing the Broadway run of Betrayal in 2019. It was a Saturday, so he had already done two shows, plus stage door meets, *and* an NPR appearance. He spoke to me for twenty minutes after I told him that looking forward to the play kept me going while receiving chemo for stage IV cancer. He only ever broke eye contact when talking to the family friends who had got me backstage. He signed things, took pictures, and at the end of it all opened his arms, offering a hug. I went in and he squeezed back so tight and wholesomely patted my upper back.

He has access to a lot of ideas and information through his education and culture; for example, one can learn a lot through reading newspapers even once a week, listening to the radio (in Britain), or watching television (the BBC, Channel 4). He probably reads a lot of books. Here in Ireland, I can learn a lot listening to radio, particularly the programmes early at weekend, on science, business, indepth discussion of events. That fatal speech he got so roasted for, hurt him, because he wasn't glorifying himself (as the self centered pricks immediately thought) but talking about how he was happy that what he does, could bring a brief release to the people who works in unforgettable conditions.
We have all probably hidden ourselves in a movie, a book, anything, to get away from reality for a moment..

Bad people will always throw anyone under the bus, for their own gain..
Read the comments, some explain very well what he is trying to get through..
I understood very well, as I have delt with difficulty in my life, by escaping into movies for a little while..
That escape, that release of pressure, is what makes us able to withstand hardships..
Which is why he is so happy, that people he probably consider friends, are able to get that enjoyment, from something he's done..

From one INFP to another, I think a reason he sometimes interjects or interrupts people is because he has such a feeling and perspective nature. So he feels in depth with the conversation and feels he knows what you’re going to say, which helps move the conversation along. Plus I know that a slight interruption is better than an awkward silence.
