I just want to say thank you for petting your cats on camera, I really hate watching videos and people ignoring their pets while they're talking. and your cats are so adorable we want to pet them, so you're actually petting them for us. so once again thank you.
You're welcome!
Jenna, this could be a game changer...you know how people started making those fireplace videos for Christmas time? You could do a 4 hour video of cat petting...🤪🐈🐈⬛🐱
Ugh...
Crazy cat lady
@@dirtyscoundrel2013 Why would you insult her like that, that's like me saying you've a dirty cheesy wee wee.
I lived in my camper for a year and it never really felt like home, I love how you've really made yours a home.
Would be quite interesting to hear more about your story.
Thank you for posting Jenna. A nice nap on a snowy day is hard to beat. Take care.
I'm a new subscriber because I enjoyed your video! It's so neat to see you living like you do. I'm afraid I'd not last long! Your Ramsey is so cute and good company, mainly when he's not biting with his one tooth!! 😂
😄
Your "siesta" is well deserved! Constantly clearing the solar panels, getting wood, scooping ashes and all,is so important but tiring I bet.Its nice to see you pop up and see the furbabies and new gadgets.
Awe thank you 😊
Hi Jenna 👋🏻 Hope you, Rory and Ramsey are doing well my friends 🙏🏻 Hopefully this cold snap is on its way out🥶 Stay safe, stay warm and take care 🙂God Bless 🙏🏻 Appreciate you!
I live in a tiny apartment with a kid and two cats. On grid. It gets icey as hades every winter. No snow. I have this vacuum. Love it!!
I was already scared enough of you before you mentioned The Shinning. I like these walk thru, walk around, day in the life of videos of yours. You're very real. The snow surprise, cleaning solar panels (again!), new toys to demonstrate, cats to bedevil.... Youre living so well.
Thanks, and sorry for the scare, haha
Buy some Rain X -25 degree windshield washer fluid. It will keep the snow from sticking and ice buildup..
Hey girl, nothing wrong with taking a nooner, did it for many years in the Navy. My pups and kitties keep me warm whenever I am in my bed, much more faithful and loyal than most people.
When you were on the top of the ladder, That made me nervous. Thanks for the videos and letting us see what it's like living off-grid in rural Nova Scotia.
Evening, Made me smile about the little things comment. I find just putting a screw into something to hang things up, gets them off the floor....easier to clean and what not, don`t have to keep moving them😉 So simple!
Dear Jenna, thank you for keeping the off-grid way of life real in your videos. Thank you for the humor. Thank you for your continued efforts to be helpful and constructive. And most importantly, thank you for being YOU! As I always say, "we need you out here" ❤😊🤗🤓
Awe thanks T, thank YOU for always being sweet, supportive and positive 💖
@@gypsyjenna☺️😻
1:58 So great to see you Jenna and the kitties. I always look for your videos. 😊
🐱🐱 You are so funny. 😂
Go buy a window squeege and a painter exstension pole to maintain the solar panels. You have nice little set up for sure. Need to double the amoutn of wood you keep on hand for sure. I would go buy a large cooler and put batteries in the cooler in the winter to reduce freezing issues with the batteries.
Thanks! Stay warm. Invest in a sturdier ladder, blue fiberglass should fit your needs, six or better yet eight feet. NEVER stand on the top like you were doing. Please start a ladder fund.
Wow, I am SPOILED! Thanks so much! 🙏
I will have to go ladder shopping soon 😃
Thank you jenna😊
Thanks Jenna .
I really like the glass in the door, we never had that but love watching the fire.
Good stuff! Thanks!
Hi Jenna. Watched you give you place a quick cleaning... without realizing it I started cleaning my place. Must have been contagious. 😁👍🏾
That's exactly what happened to me when I used to watch the show "Hoarders". I immediately started to bag up items to donate and also clean! Hahaa
@@gypsyjenna
Lol.
Thats a great setup thank you
I am a new subscriber and I love your videos. You're living my version of a dream life even though I know it's not always dreamy.
Nope me too! The passenger seat in the front excellent catch all!
I use a gas blower to remove snow around my home out here in Tennessee if the snow is a dry snow. It works like a charm!
I hate the snow! But you're a trooper! Had to shout out to you for the vacuum! I have a very bad back, needed a lighter vacuum.
Bless you sweetie! Stay safe! ❤❤❤
Great video Jenna
Great video Jenna .looking forward to your next video . Take care safe travels🎉
Hey Jenna😊 awesome video thanks a lot
I love your videos. On one you mentioned a baking stone in the oven solves the burning issues with an RV oven. That fixed my situation. Thank you so much for that tip! You are the best.
You're welcome!
Howdy Jenna,
That's about how much snow we had fall in southern Ohio a few days ago. First time I had to shovel this season. I don't care for snow either, except on Christmas and maybe New Year's. Ramsey didn't seem to mind you going out and cleaning the solar panels and splitting the firewood. He was so nice and courteous, he let you sweep up all his cat hair with your new sweeper too. Well the arctic blast is coming to an end and tomorrow it's getting above freezing. We're supposed to get a lot of rain later in the week. I'll take rain over snow and ice any day. Hope your wood holds out and your diesel heater keeps running. Stay warm and think spring and good fishing weather.
Take care, Steve.
Thanks Steve, hope the rain w ashes your snow away and I'm already excited for fishing of course!
good vid nice to see you are getting through the weather New items r always fun Keep the vids coming and offten😸
I live in NB. It's amazing your ground is not frozen solid. You put those driveway stakes in the ground so easily!!
You can use a metal file to sharpen your old hatchet and a little bit of light oil to prevent rust.
Good morning Jena . you be careful climbing your step still in cause that's a long drop to fall from.wiuld hate to see you hurt.glad you made a video cause I enjoy them.take care and be safe 😊
That, s what I did when it snow in west Virginia sleep thanks for the video love it
We just bought one kind of the same as yours. A little different - but the same. Works really well. Such a great thing for grabbing and going. no cord!
Definitely love that!
I like your road markers. Not obnoxious or anything. Nice to have when coming and going.
We had our share of snow this month with rain. Supposed to get some snow/ mix rain tonight in Rio Rancho,NM. Will see. Gotta keep the doggies warm. Not a big fan of the cold winds... snow I can deal with but the freezing winds.. "NOT!" Ha. Stay warm you guys. Keep the cool videos coming. 😊 I just bought my mom one of those wood stove like yours. Working out pretty well. Warms up her home pretty good. She lives up north in Cuba,NM. They get more snow up there. Gotta stock up on firewood for her. She loves the cedar wood getter, heats up better.. I think. She 89 years young. Always gotta keep on eye on her. Checking up on her.
Sweetie go to home depot get an extension handle. A wide soft. Washing brush or a push broom and clean the solar panel from the ground. I had to get one for my sat. Dish
That's so funny. My passenger seat floor is a garage can too!!! I thought I only did that
I like how you play with kitty until you get hooked and / or nibbled. I do it to my cats as well. They also try pushing me off "their" furniture, the little darlings!
I live the same way you do in a camper with solar panels for electricity enough to run a dorm fridge, my stove is in a building I added on to it, just me and my dog Scout ❤
Stay warm, great content as usual
Hey, vacuum leavins make GREAT fire starters! Love ya!
My cat loves running in the snow and doing a maddie, crazy half hour run. 😂😂
I like snow when it's here one day and gone the next.👍
I have a Shark cordless vacuum, mine brings me lots of joy too. I have a Pug, and goodness she sheds so much! Be safe
Thank you 🙂
Seeing this weather makes me almost believe California’s not so bad after all! Always happy to see you pop up in my feed! Stay warm and safe my friend!
Thank you 🙂
Hi Jenna, just started watching your videos. I’m in Ontario but lived in Newfoundland for ten years. I’ll be watching some of your previous videos but so far I have to say, you’re very brave. Living full time in an RV is something I’ve thought about. I’m 60+ and hubby is 81 in February. We are still adventurous. And, we just purchased a Fiskars axe… Cheers!
Awesome! Keep living that dream!
Jenna another great show thanks for sharing 👍 Johno Darwin NT 🍺
tip for frozen up solar panels: isopropyl alcohol or (denatured) alcohol in a spray bottle will clear those panels in a pinch. will melt snow even at extreme temps. brake cleaner works good too for like defrosting stuff, if it's all you have in the car
You have quite the sense of humor, love watching your channel..... ♥
Love your home!
Thank you 🙂
Nice snowy day
A few days ago I started watching your show I'm waiting to see more thank you interested in off-grid life 😁
I like the catio , Jenna. A snow surprise. It can be pretty or pretty annoying whichever you prefer. I personally go with both.
sweet vacuum!
Love ❤️ your outside Indiana is awesome 😎 and cold 🥶 but we still make due on the warm weather ❤❤❤❤
Hello from MN, I like your videos and keep warm
Had to scrape ice off my solar panels too, mine are ground mounted just for this kind of winter treat.
Fellow Nova Scotian here! Enjoyed your video alot, snowing as I speak ugggg
you know what cleans you window on the fireplace you take a damp cloth dip it in ash yes ash and wipe you glass with it and all that stuff comes of so easy
Beautiful Place❤
Hello from Gray, Maine, just outside of Portland. Love your videos, i've been watching you for years. Always look forward to new videos from you!
Thanks so much!
I just bought a cordless vaccuum and it is a game changer you can take it outside and do the vehicle too without the hassle of extension cords😂❤
Vacuum in my Amazon cart. Thx for sharing the info.
Nice axe to. 🪓
Stay warm and hopefully the snow will stop soon. ❄️🥱
Thank you, hope you enjoy the vacuum :)
I always enjoy your videos.
You are one interesting lady. Some of the stuff you say is so funny and cute. You are a joy to watch and listen to. Thanks for taking me along.
Don't use this vacuum to clean up ashes. I had one similar to this and it lasted me 5 minutes... I bought one that is made to suck up ashes instead.
Nice video! I remember seeing the one from last year where you thought to not have enough wood for the whole season. Next year better!! 😊
Thanks! I spent my life working off ladders. The wrong ladder can hurt you!
Thanks so much! 🙏 I will get a new ladder so no more worrying! 😊
In Alaska we go and shake snow off trees where the sun can come through better. Long pole and get what sun we can.
I have been going through a lot of fire wood this winter for next winter I am getting about 6truck loads or maybe 10 but I need to find a place to stack it and keep it out of the weather
Jenna - the Canadian who hates snow. You poor thing. haha
We got lucky here in England. We had a bitterly cold week (-7 is cold for us) followed by a storm rolling in off the Atlantic with a lot of moisture and wind. Whenever we get both at the same time we get snow and the country grinds to a halt and everyone runs around like a headless chickens.
Cool vacuum. I have one of the early Dyson cordless ones, had to replace the battery a few years ago but considering the abuse its had its been a great buy. Stay warm!
you need the water for spring.
❤❤ crocs in the snow is something I do too 😂 Your adorable...
Cats are great teachers of how to nap. It's a full time job for them. Nice vacuum. Here's something to consider. Even when you're vacuum cleaner works really really good, they still suck.😅 Have a great day 🌤 👍 🍻🔥
Hi Jenna, i'm a new subsriber of your channel when CZcams suggested it to me. Now i can bingewatch all of your video's :-)
Maybe already mentioned this tip, but for the hot ashes, if you can place them in a metal box (cookie box etc...) with a lid that is firmly closed (to prevent odor),
then you can place this box on a tile near your bed and get free heat from it. This can also be done with a metal bin filled with sand, that gets heated up by placing it on top of your stove or next to it. It takes a while before the heat gets to the sand in the center of the bin, but after that, the sand will hold the heat for a certain amount of time.
That's free at the end and costs no extra fuel. Also if you have a gas cooking furnace, you can place a Terracotta flower pot upside down over the flame, this will radiate some decent heat. Greetz from Belgium
I was just thinking, a great project for the camper is hinged steel panels in the interior windows. And flush install the solar panels with locked steel frames and I'd reinforce the doors. With bigger locks.
First time i have seen a woodstove in a trailer im a first time visitor of this channel thanks from oakville Ontario
I use the ashes to melt the snow. I spread it on the walkways I need.
It's also great for getting a stuck vehicle out if snow if u spread it around tires
I just got to say, your amazing 🤩
Hi jenna from nm ,hope you have a warmer day tomorrow!
Hi Jenna snow here in New Jersey truck doors stuck ice on windows snow is a pain when your older nice when your a kid stay warm my dear love your videos
Ms. Jenna, u just need a good man around to do all that stuff, and keep u warm in the winter with big hugs. 😊
Nice to have a good sweeper and a small confined area makes it a lot more livable I know I've been there too be careful on the ladders though girl Even young it wouldn't be a good thing I love your videos
Thank you 🙂
The weather has been so bazaar. One day its snowing, next you would swear it was spring. Then back to cold again.
You are so fortunate to have two roommates that help you with your chores 🐈⬛ 😂 take care and stay warm 👍🏻 it’s cold as Hell down here in Alabama also lol my cat and dogs could care less 😅😂
Stay warm!
Not for Jenna, she already has one.
But, I just picked up basically the same vacuum, from Dewalt, that works with all of the same 20v batteries that the tools I use on my rig do.
Perfect for small spaces.
From Vermont. I think this old man loves you. New subscriber.
Love your videos and your kitties. This place is my kitty's she just lets me live here ha ha ha
Had to laugh at the car trash can! I do the same thing because I can lol! Aways enjoy your videos! Have a good day!
Absolutely love Ramsey and Rory and I'm glad to see you also have conversations with your cats if they answer us back we would be rich and then we would be in trouble with some of the talks we have or what they see us do.😂
Thats a nice little set up you have there,,,,nice and simple,,👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏
Thank you 🙂
Embraces the snow. It’s helpful to keep everything wet in the spring into summer. No forest fires is a
Plus.
After last year, DEFINITELY a plus!!
I still say Yay Florida!
Nice setup you have there.
Nice setup... // Seeing for the first time- snow on solar panels... I was wondering if they make solar panels that contain heat coils in them? If not, maybe you can jerry-rig something? Or even this: relocate the panels by putting them right above where the wood stove is inside. Obviously this would have to happen when it is warmer out.
Stay safe you an your kittens.
Its nice to see anoth gal doing the same I am, with my cats......At 66 most think i am crazy....but its home and paid for..
Living in my30 ft 2005 camper using propane for my heat. Doing well. I do happen to Love Snow. But this year weather has been Brutal already. Type of weather and temps that british Columbia gets. Im in Northern Michigan. Driving was in slush soup today. With rain next 4 days and 46 F here.
