Rejection And Exaggeration Of The First Day

The history of the believers in Israel's Messiah is an interesting one. For some reason we forget that our origins were in the Synagogue and our departure from the Synagogue was a complex series of events. It would seem that due to Messianic appreciation for the firstfruits of the resurrection and the outpouring of the Spirit on Shavuot that this may have influenced the Jewish tradition that gives no significance to the first day of the week. On the other hand the believers would with time accentuate the first day and make it oppose the "diseased ways" of the Jews. Many blessings
