Well you said it everyone's hating on you for buying that beautiful truck but it's your money do what you want with it right.
I have a set of compounds on my 96 it makes 70psi of boost. That's even on a stock headgasket with a set of them cheap headstuds tq to 135ftlbs its been like that for a few years now.
I also had a 96 with a 5speed with upgrade turbo injectors and upgraded single disk clutch that made 45 psi boost . Never had and issue with the trans also had stock head bolts I drove it like that for years.

My dad and I built a 1991 12v Cummins that made 532 hp on the Dyno with the stock turbo and internals, we only did a governor spring, fuel pin, valve springs and water methanol.
I dont wanna be that guy and I mean this respectively but there's no way a h1c is making 500hp
Ya I have a 92 5spd 2wd. With fuel pin, 3800 spring 3 piece manifold with an aggressor 62/65, 5x14's it might make 350 or something..

I remember the days when I thought 40psi was making power. Now that’s what my little turbo makes before it charges my big turbo.
500hp isn't bad though. We're just so desensitized because it seems everyone and their brother makes 1k+. For a work truck there's no need. Just causes more problems. This truck is out pulling trailers across the country as we speak
@@CPSteveMiller yep, my compound set is fast spool, clean burning, and keeps EGT’s low for towing. I live in Northern California and pull trailers over 12k foot peaks with major grades. Single turbos never performed well for my needs and love my compounds.
Tell Josh that that red POS needs a hood exhaust to go with the new turbo. Turn the downpipe into an up-pipe! 🤣

Well you know Steve it's a bad investment because they didn't get to buy it. They are just jealous that you got it and can fix it up, and they ant got a clue on how to do a damn think but complain and our you down. I personally love that truck. If I had money I would buy one myself. I'm now on disability and I can't work. I don't even have a vehicle now because I couldn't afford payments and a house. I had to think hard about even buying one because buying it is the easy, cheapest part. Now you gotta maintain it and if they break good God you're out a lot of money. My first diesel truck I bought and the engine was already bad. Drove great but had multiple broken rings. I never knew until I took it to a shop for the excessive smoke out of the blowby tube. I learned really fast how expensive these trucks get.

I run a hx35 with a wastegate and I can push it to 45 lbs and I got a 120 horse injectors 60 lb valsprings almost full cut delivery valves and 4K coverage springs stock head studs takes everything I throw at her LOL
I was running 48/49 with my old he351 on my old 06, head studded of course. Shit was way out of the efficiency range 😂

I am about to rebuild my hx35 to a hybrid 62/64/12cm. Is this aggressor basically the same thing or does that use a 9cm?
I would call power driven diesel and talk to one of them. Better to hear it from the guys who make it.
Aggressor 62 is a s300 base vs the hx35 base. Will flow more cfm with slightly more lag on spool. If you daily and are stick I recommend the hx. If your auto go 62 as your not concerned spooling it every shift.
Let them hate on the truck. I like the white truck. You get all new content with an all new truck. I have made several runs up from Texas to Gettysburg this year. I will be there Monday then later in the week and again in December. One of these times I would like to meet up with you. I wouod like to have you do a valve adjustment on my 2018 3500. I have your number. I will try and set up a time with you.

You're comparing apples to oranges. A stock turbo is small and easy to spool. This truck has plenty of fueling upgrades and a much bigger turbo. You can't compare 40 psi of a stock turbo to this. Not even close to the same number output. Boost is an irrelevant way to measure power output.

I put one in for 45 psi. No idea what I'm actually hitting over 30 psi. Going to do some googling then.

@@mattwnovak I have a 45 psi and a torktek. I put the 45 one in just because it was higher. Apparently my pump can hit up to 100psi. It was put it prolly 2 weeks ago.

Josh drives a semi for a living and I make my money in the shop and CZcams. There's no money in actually pulling trailers full time. But if you're interested the business is doing 10 to 15k as of now with zero trailer pulling. These pulling rates are low enough to go bankrupt for
