I knew a guy that worked for Gordon. He says he was a great boss, always happy to explain and nurture. Everyone got a first chance and a second, but make the same screw up a third time? Fireworks.
One time he found out one of his KP's had become homeless and got him a bedsit and paid 3 months rent in advance. No charge. He was impressed that he still turned up for work on time and in clean whites.
My friend thinks that Gordon's TV exploits are partly for the camera and branding. I'd love a bos like him, you always know where you stand and he rewards hard work.
EDIT: In the UK TV shows the chefs pull together and help each other out, in the US they seem determined to fuck each other up.
And one fact from Gordon's past that shows how his staff regard him - when he quit Aubergine to start his own restaurant, practically the whole staff quit to go with him.
i would love to work under Chef Gordon, would be hell of a learning curve but it would be worth of it.. My previous school teacher didnt even know how to make egg pasta another teacher butchered salmon when fileting it, so I needed to show him how to do it correctly.. geez
Gordon Ramsey spent a day with a little girl from my village who had terminal cancer. His wife and children also spent time with her in Gordon’s restaurant. He was absolutely delightful and was genuinely upset when the little girl died. So, for me, Gordon Ramsey is a great guy. ❤
It it said he is a really nice, genuine man in real life. This is just an act for the cameras
@@Imnotavirgintrustme I agree.
In real life he is supposed to be very nice and very funny. I am sorry to hear about the little girl though and no doubt it had an affect on Gordon cos he loves family. ❤️🇬🇧
It kills me at 6:00 when he's picking it all out the bin, he just gets higher and higher pitched with every bit he finds 😂 Look...LOOOOOK!! 😂
im glad you noticed it too. cracks me up everytime
Calling a woman a cow is actually quite a mild insult in the UK it's a go to insult for a woman you don't like.
Exactly, calling someone a ‘cow’ is nothing here in the UK
One of my favorite Quotes of all time.
Marco Pierre White "No I didn't make Gordon Ramsey cry, he made himself cry that was his choice".
Marco could intimidate with a glance and a few taps of his murder knife on the counter. Gordon has to scream and shout. Marco is the God.
Marco Pierre White made Gordon what he is today he is good teacher...
@@TwoBlokesOneBallMarco is on video saying that. It's here on CZcams somewhere.
Send security to the kitchen to remove the staff for not working as a team, Get on to HR Stephanie and tell them they may have to recruit a security team who can work as a team. They may have to escort the current team from the building for not working as a team. Yu think this is a photo of my family? No it is the A-Team - Bodie, Doyle, Tiger and Jewellery man.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 absolute legend mate 👌🏻
🤣🤣 my wife calls me Gino Ramsey. I’m English but my mother is Italian and my Nonna taught me how to make pasta sauce the proper way.
But I hate people being in the kitchen when I’m cooking and it’s caused a few arguments 😂🤣. She says I cook like Gino and swear like Gordon when I’m cooking.
Your stomach just has to fall out of your arse when you hear him call everyone over, you know he’s about to hand you your internal organs anyway 😆
Not sure about my stomach but this at least made me spit out my coffee 😂
Gordan Ramsay behind bars I've never seen him more polite to the convicts in all of his shows really got to try and get around to watch it
American reaction guy TheeLit One watches a lot of Ramsey including Behind Bars
@@tommym5023and the Jeremy Kyle show
Classic photo bombing from the dog, I love that pooch.
Worked in many kitchens and it's a question of not making mistakes,as once you make one it throws you off your game and you tend to make more.
The scottish are hilarious when they get angry. 😂❤
They still got it wrong 😂
21:57 2 wellington, 2 chicken, 1 lamb and 1 dory
23:49 2 chicken, 2 lamb, 1 wellington and 1 dory 😂
That guy thought he could kick Gordon's ass. I don't think so. Gordon is super fit. He's competed in 15 marathons, 3 ultra marathons, 3 half Ironmans and 2 Ironman World Championships.
Don't forget he was a pro footballer too until a serious knee injury at 19 forced him to give up the game.
I also believe he is a black belt in karate.
As a former military and civilian chef, I know and understand how stressful the trade is. I think the medical profession and catering profession used to have the highest suicide rates, in the world, because of the pressure you're under 24/7, 365 days a year.
I met Gordon Ramsey at a charity event 15yrs ago. He was charming, soft as a kitten, polite, NO PROFANITIES. He told me that when he puts on his Chef Whites, that's when he goes into Profession Mode.
He's a perfecionist and expects/demands his ideology of perfection in the trade. It's a regret of mine that I never got to work with him, and learn from the master of his craft.
I have the utmost respect for Gordon and the chef he learnt from, Marco Pierre White. I recommend you CZcams Marco, to see how he was as a chef.
He presented the first Hells Kitchen. Ruthless, but brilliant.
Hope you & QB & PB are doing well and enjoyed the Easter weekend .... Dougie, Frome, UK.
Um , yep that's about right , you're under pressure to perform 24/7 no excuses especially for men , women
tend to get a little bit of slack !
Unfortunately most ," well off" ,entitled individuals don't appreciate that they think it's like easy , another day at the office .
It isn't !
That was the pasta bin, that's were she was keeping it for next time lol
Raj would have just eaten it!
@@philipr1567 Cooking With Jack would make a video out of it.
On one of your reaction vids I’m expecting your pup in the background to be riding a tricycle or juggling in the background 😂😂 trying to steal the show 😂
I still cannot stop thinking about this video..this is GLORIOUS! I laughed so hard.
I worked as a line cook, assistant Chef . U R right. Without a leader it can become crazy. Like working on the line without an expoditer. Thanks for another awesome video. Love you both ❤❤❤
"Stupid Cow" got me the exact same!
I have to say, you have the best intro EVER ! Thanks Boomer and to the Queen, much love from the UK 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸
Loving the unexpected good boy/girl in the background🐕🥰
The best part of the show is when he takes everyone into the supply closet to yell at them in private!!😂
I think the only person who made Gordon cry is his teacher.
"I did not make Gordon Ramsay cry. He made the choice to cry. He made himself cry" - Marco White
Some people do not like accountability. A whole kitchen full right there.
A job like this is brutal if you don't , it's no BS sends you home without taking prisoners !
Ramsay is playing up to the cameras. If you want to see him authentically mad, the fly-on-the-wall documentary Boiling Point is the thing to watch.
You're probably bored of me requesting this but try 'Game On' series. Its your sick sense of humour...and mine lol
Samantha Janus 😛
Skunk p***ies 🤣
That series is where I got my sense of humor from
Never get made today 😂
@@dannyb9209 Same here you jism monkey slime surfer :)
Honestly u need to watch travel man with Richard ayoade, they guy from the IT crowd, it’s so funny
I think you'd love the animated ramsay shorts by Zeeeko. They are definitely right up your alley comedy wise!
Your dog is having a sublime time in the background there. 🥰🥰
Great reaction as always 😊
2:12 watch that little girls face Shen she hears him use the F word. Hilarious 🤣
You should do reactions to kitchen nightmares Uk. Really funny, tense and sometimes almost tragic moments. Very real and not setup and fake like the US version
Your best work yet!
Bro his doggy is so cute in the background.
I've always thought on these Ramsay shows that when Gordon calls all the kitchen to stop to come and some see some single persons issue, that all the dishes that those people were cooking are just gonna go wrong.. then a few minutes later he would go to test one of their dishes and "oomg... it's overcooked!! what happened!??"
Never ever piss a glaswegian off. 😂
The thing with British insults we say them take them however you like them haha 😂
Your dog is loving it. :D
I think Ramsey is a black belt in karate
As a butcher I would deliver meat to dozens of restaurants around the Guild Hall in the City of London and was always warmly met by the chef's. What always shocked me was how manic the kitchens were. The shouting and swearing that went on constantly was like water off a ducks back to me , but it was a part of a service industry I swore I would never allow my kids ever be a part of. Crap money , unless your a chef, and really hard work for at least 5hrs non stop, and then it's clean up time. Gordon is not unique in his ways 😉...
When I was young about a thousand years ago I was privileged to witness a chef who never swore and produced wonderful food. When I moved across the world still met chefs who never behaved like Gordon it’s all bs. Just allowing some one to behave like a dicktator.
@@dianacasey6002. You can meet many chef's who are polite and have the staff/time to enjoy that luxury. But when your dealing with low paid staff & fast turn over of staff in a industry notorious for terrible conditions , trying to turn a profit is more important than hurting someone feelings. I am now a construction engineer and totally enjoy my dictatorship on any construction site or project. It's just a word people like to use when they don't like a strong no nonsense man in charge.
@@hiramabiff2017 I call bs once upon a time there was a civilised world that you obviously don’t know about. That’s ok I’m just glad I did.
Well I can understand that it's pressure to deliver no BS .
Not many people can handle that !
23:27 they are all Chef's it's their job and they can't do their own job competently, if I were Gordon Ramsay I would be exactly the same.
I expect any time I switch on the news to find out that Chef Ramsay is in jail for murdering someone who brought him raw chicken.
The one idiot saying he was a street fighter, and Gordon should in effect be careful. My father was an Englishman. I lived in England for a year. I have English friends. One thing I learned was to never, ever underestimate an Englishman in a fight. Gordon would have taken him out in the first round as soon as the bell went.
Gordon isn't English he's Scottish.
@@Eleziumhe was born in Scotland but built in England 💪
You should watch the series 'Boiling point' when he was on the way up and getting his second Michelin Star - The stuff he shouted in the kitchen was hilarious
If you get a chance to watch Hells Kitchen Raw it is well worth it - it shows fuller footage without the editing, crazy music and narration. You'll see just how reasonable Gordon starts out, and the help he gives the contestants. The angry outbursts tend to come only after lots of build up and usually after the cooks ignore his advice. He's still an angry bunny, but it doesn't come out of nowhere. To my taste the episodes are more interesting in the Raw version as you actually see Gordon showing off his cooking skills in the thick of service. They only released a few episodes that way but well worth searching CZcams for.

How Gordon Ramsey has never been attacked by the kitchen staff with utensils is beyond me.
What a lot of people don't know who threaten Gordon Ramsey, he is a black belt in karate.
The American hells kitchen always feel like he's putting on a bit of a show for the sake of it lol. Definitely check out the UK one it has some wholesome moments too and just feels less scripted
They G o t t a put the Drama in! Ratings won't rise unless there's Drrraaammmaaa oooooooo 😆
I WISH I could, but I can't find it, but the time I laughed the most was when Ramsey was going off about a dish, called the cook over & IMMEDIATELY after he asked what was wrong, he SHOVED the plate right into the cook's chest!!! 😆
The biggest reason I laugh at people getting yelled at by Ramsey is because it's very similar to military basic training. & Ramsey is acting like a Drill Sergeant. It was touched on in these clips...It's not personal, it's professional. Ramsey isn't going to ask or Tell you to do something that he himself hasn't already done & he's not going to tell you to do something he isn't willing &/or unable to do! Obviously, SCREAMING isn't normal & gets you flustered quickly! But once you get past the loudness, it's mentoring & you can use it as motivation! You'll be dialed in & Sound Off back at Ramsey & he'll reciprocate with prideful happiness, I'm sure! Be like "Oh s**t! cook so-n-so got this! What else can I get from cook so-n-so?!?!"
Gordon reminds me so much of my dad. He’s Scottish too; he gets angry at something, perhaps even something menial….
He’ll set off complaining about something, and sound almost disappointed & let down…
But he never lets it lie, he’ll just keep looking at it & repeating his words with increasing anger and rage…
Then he’ll just flip his lid, scream abuse at someone, and punch or kick something.
To be honest as a Scot, I'd say most get angry over nothing 😠😄
Abusive much? Don't carry on that 'family tradition', please?
@@lewilewis3944 Soft and soyfuelled much?
You people always cry over meaningless nonsense too make a big deal out of thin air
@@Spr1ggan87 No idea what that comment means but as a Geordie growing up in care on Tyneside I'll show you 'soft' any day of the week.
Love the T-shirt Brian.
Thing is I would laugh someone shouting at me it’s the way I am 🤣
I can’t get over the woman simply throwing out all of that pasta and ‘shrimp’ (prawns 😜), what a horrific waste! No wonder Gordon was so disgusted, I’d have been fuming too, and not just cause of overheads - folk are starving in the world and she’s just chucking all of that food in the bin 😠
I've been inspired! time to tune into some Hells Kitchen
I would prefer to be called out for being fat than being stupid.
Many years ago Gordon had a UK series where amongst other things he was cooking veg from his own large garden he announced he was gonna get two young pigs to raise and eventually cook he had an argument with his wife cos her and his daughters wanted to name the piglets thry were stood there doing the oooh aren't they cute routine he said if you name them they're going back, they persisted in the end he said he said that one's called sausages that one's called bacon he got the side eye and the quivering lip but he had his way
Each type of chef are specialized...but the Best Chefs know it all.👍🏼👍🏼👌👌
And you thought the English were the rowdiest. Don't mess with the Scottish.
She got the order wrong, though at 23:49. At 21:56 he said It was TWO Wellington, 2 Chicken, ONE Lamb, 1 Dory.
knew this would be a good one
58 restaurants. 90 when you count stalls. And people say they have experience as a chef. He cooks gourmet!!
If you’re interested in watching more Gordon Ramsay, there is a documentary called Boiling Point which shows more of his early career.

Gordon's 2017 series about cocaine was also brilliant
In Gordon Ramsay's early UK tv shows there were a liberal sprinkling of the C word
Hell’s Kitchen seems like a show that would attract a lot of dudes that think they’re tough cos they cook
Check out the hells kitchen video about raj he is so funny
Young people CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!!😵😵
Gordon is a boss you want, hard but fair, he will praise you if you do a good job and would shout at you if you are doing things wrong. He will keep you on your toes for sure.
So many people don't seem to understand that it's entertainment and not real life, yet they worryingly say it's okay to act like that at work. But it's a tv show and not only Gordon, but the contestants are there to be entertaining, people seem to forget that. The contestants aren't just all arrogant and awful at cooking, they play up to it because it works for the show and they wouldn't get on it otherwise, like most reality tv.
Gordon would be a scary sargent in the army.. :-)
Gordon would totally kick that guys arse !!.....he has a Black Belt in Karate !!
Gorden ramsey is a really nice guy all this shouting is just entertainment👊
New to the channel , and enjoying you reacting to British comedy. If you haven't already, you must ( it's the law) watch Still Game. Scottish comedy gold.😂 🏴❤️
Damn Gordon there is kids in the Restaurant
Doc brown the comic he is so funny
Gordon is very entertaining .
Why is the 'main course' called an entrée in the US, when the 'appetiser' or 'starter' in France has the same name?
People are so sensitive!!! Discipline in a high end restaurant is crucial, as much as knowledge can be!
Legend 🏴🏴🏴
PS people forget as a pro footballer....he was not the nice guy, I wonder if the customers were warned in advance
I think he gets so mad cause he's a perfectionist and working for him you have to be spot on, he wants the best but also working with food, messing up can make people incredibly unwell or worse kill them, like the raw chicken. so I can understand why he gets so angry
Gordon Ramsay...the absolutely last man you want on a first contact team with aliens. Just sayin.
26:30 what the dawg doing?
Yeah. People need to realise/remember that Gorden Ramsey was a football/soccer player during the time that people like Vinny Jones would be on the pitch and looking to take out your ankles in a foul. He’s not soft at all.
No he wasnt
Try Scheiffer Bates doing his impressions of Gordon Ramsay. Better than the real thing.
Meh not excusing that Matt guy, but as someone who gets severe migraines, as in, loss of 60% of my vision, loss of sensation in limbs etc occasionally during them... most people think the headaches they're getting are migraines. They aren't. If you can still see, not a migraine.

What’s the dog doing?
My favorite part of the "lamb sauce" bit is the poor waiter who just catches a stray from Gordon at the end.
After cussing out the "Yankee-Dankee-Doodle-Shite" and putting the food up for service, he just glances at the waiter and says, "Fuck off, will you, yeah?" 😂
You can't beat Gordon Ramsey
