      He’s definitely guilty. You’ve not even heard all the evidence and his testimony here he’s clearly lying & implicates his gf in his criminal activities. It’s a good thing the system does an amazing job when vetting people to serve on the jury.

    I kind of believe him. Wrong place, wrong time. If I was breaking into cars and came across a dead body, I don't know if I would call the cops either. It seems that all the state has against him is that he was near Samantha's house when her motion sensor was triggered, and he had some of her blood on him/ his clothes. That can all be explained by Samantha crawling outside her house at around the time the motion sensor was triggered and him touching her body, as he described. I just don't think that's enough to convict somebody.
    The biggest piece of reasonable doubt for me is the fact that nothing was taken from her house. The state's theory is that this was a robbery gone wrong. But where's the robbery? Yeah, he was breaking into cars. But somebody who's willing to break into cars isn't necessarily willing to murder. He was trying to stay under the radar and not get caught. So why would he murder someone and not take anything from their house? Doesn't make any sense.

    • @jada877
      @jada877 Před 3 dny +1

      Exactly! He stole a bag of candy from a car so it’s safe to assume that he did murder her in a robbery gone wrong that he would’ve stole something from her house too but he didn’t. I don’t think he’s guilty either

      He could have easily called into 911 about the body, anonymously, and then leave. Also, he was not truthful about his thieving activities with the cops, nor did he just tell them -“yes I was up to no good, saw a body and ( like the good citizen that I clearly am not) tried to check on her condition and assuming she was beyond help I called 911.” He lied right off the bat and is only now trying to explain why he might have her blood on him.

    Whats baffling to me is wouldn't Samantha's family and friends want real justice for her murder if it was my friend or family member, I would want real justice so that I could rest better knowing the real killer is serving time not just charging anyone with her murder just to satisfy the people thats not real justice the Ex Boyfriend is clearly guily you would have to be insane not to see the ex is guilty high or not medicated or not if that was the case pretty much the whole entire united states would be running to the police departments beliving they commmited murders this is a bunch of bull crap the ex boyfriend received immunity because he done it. He probably has no criminal record his parents knows he could never handle prison and more then likely he would take his own life in prison, his family has a little money and connections with the jewish community the ex is a sick man with a lot of mental issues clearly lets stop being so bias and judgemental of other nationalities and be honest human beings, the ex could not except her rejecting so he took her life. he should not be a Dr. Of any kind, his license should be revoked indefinite, unfortunately! now if this man is found guilty, he will serve 20/30 years in prison, then found not guilty after serving all that time for a crime he did not commit, and then becomes a millionare with our tax paying dollars for wrongful conviction. now tell me, is this real justice? we have seen this throughout history in the United States. Also, im not saying this black man is an angel he is not innocent he should not have been out breaking into cars or anything but he did not commit this murder, we dont no what we would have done if we came across someone lying on the ground in the middle of the night we may try to shake them, speak to them to see if they are okay we may even reach down and touch them it was a cold winter night, yes he should have called the police but because he was out commiting auto crimes that he should not have been doing but that doesn't make him guilty of killing this young lady we need real justice for samantha not charging a random person because they were out commititng dumb senseless crimes lets pray that Samantha receives real justice from the real murderer so her family and friends will be able to rest better at night 🙏

    While talking to police, Herbstman "THE EX BOY FRIEND" added that he had a motive to kill Woll because she had broken up with him in July after about a year of dating. He last saw Woll on October 7, 2023. Woll was murdered on Oct. 21.
    "I had a motive and an opportunity," he told police in the bodycam footage.
    Throughout the interaction, he kept repeating that he didn't remember anything.
    Herbstman testified that he started having irrational thoughts that he may have stabbed Woll to death after learning about her murder from the news.
    "I had no recollection of killing Sam," he said in court. "I convinced myself that I had done this act, but I could recall nothing of it."
    While testifying, Herbstman said he believed the medication he was taking for depression made him delusional. The night of his alleged psychotic break, he had doubled his medication and used marijuana.
