2:49 Haha, very fun bit - I slowed down to 0.25 speed to see what happened there:
After you flashed, you were moving your cursor onto her, but you did hover over the dog's ear for a split second and that's when you hit an E to cast a spell. So you cast the E on her minion which was on top of her, it started the bounce and then she flashed away from you, but the bounce has already spawned so it just needed to travel to her new location. However, she didn't die from the bounce damage but from the next passive dmg tick.
That's why her death felt really delayed and off :D

malignance radius increases based on DAMAGE DONE BY MALIGNANCE (total over the course of the game), not by the damage done by the ult that triggers it. building it late game and expecting it to be great is a misunderstanding of how it works.

I've been thinking of coming back to LoL but I don't know how well I could do. I play a Nami support and was wondering if you could recommend a build? I've never done ranked but think I'd be up to the challenge of trying, any advice your could give would be helpful. Plus I wonder if a AP dmg/support Nami could work.

Malignance is not meant to replace void or stormsurge. Its meant to give you a ton of ults. If it did as much damage as those other items it would be a must buy super op ready to be hotfixed item.
I rushed Milignance on Malphite, after using my ulti twice on the enemy Ashe alone it had dealt like 461 damage if I remember correctly, It was a oneshot as well with only that and boots
i'd love to see this build with collector IE, not very effective but it be very funny to see the damage ramp up when below 30%

Could you do the Lizard Wizard build again, would like to see Renekton with Malignance, Riftmaker, Liandrys, ultimate hunter and then maybe throwing in an Experimental Hexplate.
You need to go MF with axiom arc, malignance, and experimental hexplate and ultimate hunter for the ultimate ult reset/cooldown.

Malignance only proc on the first ennemy and not a big circle since the first instance of damage is not that big, that's a shame

Primary runes: Grasp, Demolish, Conditioning, Overgrowth OR standard Conqueror.
Secondary runes: Manaflow, Gathering Storm OR Presence of mind, Last stand.
Extra facts:
You want Archangel's first, because Cass is so mana hungry.
Gauntlet might work, because with E you'll proc it often.
Heartsteel will easily proc because you're ranged and fast. For the same reason Rylai's will be excellent for kiting, just like bruiser Ashe.
Spirit Visage synergizes with your E healing and shielding granted by Seraph's and Gargoyle. Extra points for building all three!

As a brand one trick the mathematically correct build path for him is liadrys, deathcap, shadowflame, storm surge then void. He doesn’t need a mana item. Just went 25/5/17 earlier with that build, could kill anyone on their team landing one combo
For me in practice tool riftmaker did more damage than stormsurge
