HLOM Artifact Video Series: 1924 Moire Silk Dress

HLOM Curator Tyler Angora shares one of the most unique pieces in our clothing collection that is currently on display as part of our “98 Years Since the Sun Went Out” exhibit. This 1924 Moire Silk dress is lavender in color and features the unique Morrie Silk pattern that was popular at the time but very expensive to make. It is of a unique style as well called a robe de style with a drop waist, that features hoops under the skirt portion.
