Holland Land Office Museum Artifact Video Series: 1832 Wedding Dress

HLOM Curator shares the history and importance of the oldest piece in our “Heavenly Traditions & Holy Matrimony: Weddings Through Time” exhibit. It is an 1832 wedding dress worn by Lucinda Cox. It is unique in its design and varies greatly from the wedding dresses of the today. The dress is also a great example of clothing being repurposed for other uses.
