I think he wanted to show his thought process, he probably wouldn't be satisfied with removing a piece randomly and completing it
This seems like a concept that’d be really hard to execute well, but they seem to have managed to do a great job so far!

I can't help but disagree. I completed it in half the time (and there was an extra level). The video kinda felt like a drag

Also, you literally explain why it could be a drag "he isn't speedrunning and has to be slow and talk for the video" and try to use that as an argument as to why it isn't a drag?
The reason it felt like a drag to me was because how long it took him to figure some of the puzzles out.
I just felt like he took a long time to solve the puzzles and the first comment I saw was this one, complementing him on how quickly he solved the puzzles.

there was actually an earlier version of this game by the same name; it's a lot simpler, with no goals or anything, just a three-panel story that'll change based on where you put everyone. still, it's worth checking out with something like Flashpoint if you've got it

What a well crafted demo. I'd be interested in seeing if the full game has more of those fun alternate challenges for the more complex scenes.

This game looks great, but I feel like it'd be better to play than to watch - all through the first chapter, I wanted you to pull an Understand and start experimenting with what combinations do and don't work and make some funny stories that way. The jester secrets definitely help out there, but I still want more.
You should check out the game puzzle agent. I would describe it as a story based puzzle game with horror elements. I think it’s amazing and under-rated
i remember that one, the puzzle gnomes are never realy explained to my satisfaction.
While I love puzzle agent (1 and 2), wouldnt that be too easy? :P
I like this game, definitely one I'd enjoy seeing more of when it gets a full release!

This game is really creative and fun looking. I love that you can do stuff like turn people into ghosts by messing with the timeline.
Huh, I'm kind of impressed. Jonathan, Mina, and Professor Helsing are the characters' actual names from Dracula. Cute detail.
And spoilers, but Professor Helsing, and Jonathan do have to cure Mina of vampirism at the end of the book. ;-)
And Edgar and Eleonora are clear references to The Raven.
It's so hard to not make "is this loss" jokes with this game.

Ive been keeping up with this game for a bit and more of the onfo made it look so simple and railroaded, it's really interesting seeing what the game can do with the concept!

What's really cool about the vampire one is that Jonathan and Mina are the names of two main characters from Bram Stoker's Dracula
Wow, I didn't expect much from the premise of the game, but now I find it very fun! I wonder if mod support and custom scenarios would do this game any good
There are also achievements for special story arrangements. You should definitely check them out, they are much fun (even though there are only three, yet).

This idea had actually been sitting around for a decade and a half. The developer used to make experimental Flash games, including one that was very similar to this.

ive played this game the moment i saw this video cuz ive been waiting for this since 5th grade
some of the stories i made were HELLA GAY. even the ones where the objective includes character names such as with Baron Murders Edgar, in which i made edgar die from drinking the poisoned wine that baron set up to kill eleonora 😭
