- Storyteller Part 1 - after a year and half of waiting, it's finally out! Though I had it lucky, this game was actually in development for 12 or so years. Regardless of how long you waited, this game is pure comedy in the form of puzzles, you won't wan to miss it!

I actually Googled it, yep! Legally, marriage ends at death. If someone were to be resurrected, they'd need to remarry.

I love the tutorial level of "A Heartbreak is Healed" with Lenora and Isobel, not only because of representation, but because the game is also subtly telling you that much like Baba is You, most characters don't have a specific purpose in the narrative and can be used interchangeably (as in, this story would still work if they were switched out for Adam and Eve, for example)
Forcing the player to make it gay to get it into their heads that gay is in fact an option
Only in some situations. In the last one, we saw that the Duchess wouldn't touch the gun but the duke does
Because gay people aren't represented enough. I'm not homophobic, im just saying that gay people are treated like some kind of god.
Isobel is also the only one who will plot to poison others.
"Everyone Rejects Edgar" is the peak of comedy because it takes a special kind of loser to be unable to get any action despite swinging both ways.
I adore how interchangeable all of the pieces in each story are. You can tell the classic Romeo and Juliet, or you can have it be two guys, or two girls. You can have the witch puckering up on the boat. You can have the frog blushing at the mirror. You can have ghosts happily reuniting in the afterlife. You can have the frogs kiss! It really lets you tell your own story, without forcing you into any of the traditional paths stories go down. Such a fun game, and I can't wait to see more!
It does have forced hetero at the end of the game, because it is more challenging. It annoyed me, because I wanted the queen to marry the maid, but sadly, they are both straight.
There are a few puzzles where the personalities of the characters play a role. For example, character A might not go straight to murder when slighted whereas character B will. The later puzzles become a tad more rigid in that way.
I recommend the game, though 15$ for less than two hours of playtime is something not everyone wants to pay.

I really like how this game introduces mechanics. They start of simple but then slowly add more and more depth to them. Really good time design
And then, once all the mechanics are introduced, the game suddenly ends.
Needs more!

Seriously, the original prototype flash game came out in 2008 and I played it in 2010, as a sophomore in high school. I have not awaited the release of any game (or any peice of media, for that matter) for longer than this one.

This game is really creative and hilarious, so glad that it had a full release
Very simple so far, don’t know if it really has the capacity to get complex, but enjoyable. At minimum it’s got humor value.
it gets much more interesting when you discover most puzzles have secret solutions where things go off the rails and tell completely different stories.
Oh trust me it does. The bonus levels especially are seriously hard. I just wish that it were a bit longer.
@@Arkouchie Not anymore, by halfway through the game they are [mostly] set in stone with linear solutions and (occasionally) challenge objectives *after* you complete the main story. more importantly they totally stripped out the "jester mode" where the stories REALLY went off the rails.

The game would probably be still in development by now if they wanted to implement everything they wanted to do.

Storyteller won't last for long. Game was released in "Paid demo" state and have 2 hours of gameplay at most

I must agree with all the praises of the game design in the comments but something I've noticed are the awesome sound effects and music used. Taking little parts from famous pieces is just brilliant! Can't wait to see more of this great game!

It's a fun game! Unfortunately it's pretty easy to get 100% (outside of the achievements) in less than 2 hours though, which isn't much playtime for being $13-15, but it's fun and charming nonetheless.

Yay it's here! I was waiting since the demo video and it looks so fun!
The game is a lot of fun, I 100%'d it. Though be warned, even after getting all the achievements with little to no documentation or guides, the game barely took 2 hours to finish. Pretty pricy for that length.

I watched 2 dudes play this game and get stuck in "Prince saves tiny" for a quarter of the video.(ps the video was 20m long) And here you are solving it in mere minutes.
