- Short Story Film "Mr Gimme" Sorry for the poor video quality as this is an old film from the 1970's. A young boy whose heart is set on owning a set of drums becomes involved in a get-rich-quick scheme.

Saving for stuff seems to be rare now. Delayed gratification is too hard. Everyone seems to want the newest thing on the market.

They used to show films like this on Showtime, as "shorts" between the movies. I don't remember this particular one, but there were others like it.

Thanks for uploading this. Totally remember seeing this on Nickelodeon’s Special Delivery. I will admit, the part where the store owner called the kid and threatened to call the cops did scare me a bit.
