Eurovision 2020 would've been one of the best. So many good songs

Just because it’s downgraded, doesn’t mean it’s necessarily a bad song. 2021 was pretty much the first time in a long time no country sent a “joke” entry.

I notice a really crucial big mistake. Cyprus always gives its 12 points to Greece. A real Eurovision fan knows that. Also, some of the other choices don’t fit as well
It’s not a prediction, so that’s not a mistake
@@SayEurovision I never said it is or is supposed to be a prediction, but even if it is not a prediction, the results should somewhat add up, meaning they should make sense considering the general outcomes of Eurovision. Greece and Cyprus are well-known for giving each other 12 points and therefore, even if it’s not a prediction but an opinion based outcome, this and some other facts should be in there. I don’t mean to offend you in any way and I appreciate all the hard work you put into this video and my comment was therefore not meant to blame you in any way. It was more something like a correction. I do agree with the number one in the video, though.
@@Thijs_vdl Why, it's a fan voting, it's true, about Eurovision, but that doesn't means it has to be exactly as Eurovision, also not always, in 2015 and 2016 which aren't old years Greece didn't give 12 to Cyprus, even, in 2015 Cyprus neither gave 12 to Greece

From Portugal, I was supporting Bulgaria, Malta and Azerbaijan because they were my Top 3 in 2020 and I'm glad that all of them reached Top 10 and 2 of them are the Winner and the Runner-Up.

@@the_kosd Yeah probably, with Iceland being like 3rd or 4th place thanks to MASSIVE televoting. Though a lot of people also think Iceland would have won, and on a big unofficial Eurovision contest that happened online, they did win. But we shall never know…

I think 2020 was a win year for armenia bulgaria and lithuania
I’m sure Athena would be top 5 irl with the right performance - i hope Malta would be as well but they wouldn’t though the gulf of jury and tele would have been larger, though maybe offset by a later slot
Armenia would not qualify at real contest. Because Athena has no voice and juries would put it 17th-18th in semi.
@@ESCBaku Athena has a very good voice, even when she over sings a couple of lines. The song is also very dynamic and coherent in spite of its unusual nature, which is the difference between bops juries like such as Toy and Fuego, and those they don’t, like Sekret. Chains On You would have 100% had a top staging and been top 10 with the jury in the heat at least, probably top 5. It was due to the jury, in a selection filled with jury bait, that it was Armenian entry in the first place. It would have also been very high televote

@@albanerausmkosovo7539 how? The staging would have been fantastic (in contrast to Ronela) and Athena has proven herself as a capable singer. She does oversing a couple of lines and needs more on-stage performances, but she has got everything to be a top 5 entry. It was at least going into the final, given the fantastic slot it had in its heat.
