ArcMap and GeosoftTutorial - Extracting SA shape files and converting coordinates

For Wits Univ Geoscience students who need to extract 1:250 000 shape files of the local geology in ArcMap. Then how to convert the coordinates of the shape file (Geographic to Lo27) in Geosoft so they can be imported into software like Kingdom Suite.
