I spent the whole video staring at his socks now because of this comment
I love how Martin's and Ben's roles are sort of reversed in real life ... when Martin speaks you can see that Ben is immediately engaged and drawn in to what it is he is saying, while on the other hand Martin loves poking fun at Ben and going against what he says. But one thing is obvious: those two are good friends, and have had great fun together. That -- as both Moffat and Gatiss are fond of saying -- that's the show, right there.
I think that's the brilliance of the casting - Ben and Martin obviously tease strands of their real personalities,i.e, Martin's acerbic quips and Benedict's playfulness into their respective characters.

xX Anime Xx They don’t, in the beginning they said they don’t see each other other than acting for Sherlock. If you see the bloopers, Martin usually wants to not laugh and get along with the scenes. But it’s almost much more fun when the cast is having fun.
Seeing each other outside of film sets can sometimes be hard, especially for A-Listers whose careers are positively blowing up as we speak -- and Martin is just a grumpy grandpa, whilst still being hilarious and adorable, he likes to get the the job done, and to get it done right. They're paying him by the hour to do what he's good at, and that's acting. I'm sure there were loads of outtakes that included Ben and Martin completely fussing around, unfortunately the outtakes available don't even reach 10 minutes, there's a lot we don't see. So I wouldn't be too concerned with how serious Martin can seem during those bloopers, that's just him making sure they all don't lose it with laughter (and if you're referring to one of the scenes I think you may be, the stabbed guard in the bathroom; there's the risk of losing continuity if they waste too much time not getting their lines out, I understand Martin's hurry). I never believe those rumours until there's hard evidence in front of my eyes!

I find the way they all talk over each other absolutely heartwarming. it's like I'm watching a cozy family dinner. Also, I want to find something in this life that I love as much as Ben loves acting. That's definitely a man who's found his life's passion and I could listen to him speak about it forever.
Few ppl actually get that. Everyone strives for it but life goes on and eventually most, by far, just get a job.
If ppl weren't lied to, so that institutions could make millions, they would try for a position on the short list that is available to them and find a better life balance incorporating other relatuonships and activities into their lives.

Fun Fact: Benedict Cumberbatch & Martin Freeman both appeared in the same show, "Sherlock." However, these two talented actors are now appeared in Marvel Cinematic Universe in each different roles. Benedict Cumberbatch will be next Doctor Strange in upcoming "Doctor Strange" and Martin Freeman already appeared as Everett K. Ross in "Captain America: Civil War" which came out already in the same year of 2016. Well Sherlock fans I hope you enjoy these two in each Marvel film and that's a good compliment from the MCU crew.

If John and Mary's baby is a girl, I would love to see the relationship grow between Sherlock and the little girl. She would be this tiny little wonder that he just can't figure out. He'd be so awkward around her as she takes to him adoringly. Eventually, she would have him wrapped around her little finger. If it is a boy, I can imagine him being an inquisitive little boy following Sherlock everywhere asking all sorts of questions. The boy would eventually be a prodigy of Sherlock. Either way, I would love to see Sherlock's relationship with this child grow, adding a new dimension to his character. ♥

ACD wrote a lot of stories after The Final Problem. Even the creators/producers have said that just because the episode was called The Final Problem it doesnt mean that there wont be another season.
