The fact that Valkyrie has never been called out for her lowlife past of desertion and trafficking always irritated me. Therefore, you having Lady Sif make that low blow actually made me cheer, lol.

I feel like I’m the only one who has written a story that presents Valkyrie’s time on Sakaar the way it should have been depicted.
Yeah Korg would kinda hate her since she was the enslaver to his fellow gladiators.
Only Hulk was semi well treated, and Hulk was stupid.
That's Waititi for you. He's a terrible filmmaker and a terrible storyteller who knows nothing of consistency. He has Thor act like a dimwitted himbo in the beginning of Thor Dumb & Dumber just to show off his powers, but then when Zeus does the exact same thing, Thor now thinks that's dumb. Valkyrie being someone who hates Asgard because it was doing bad things, but then she copes with that by being a slave-trader is such a mess, it's amazing how people actually watched Ragnajoke and said her character was great.

Ragnarok worked because thor was depressed but not to the point where he was broken yet so i felt like he was trying to cope with it with his humor
Also we look at the end of Thor 2 where things get destroyed, he loses half his family, and then leaves for Earth for several years where it can safely be shown that he is getting over much of the grief even if it isn't fully done.
Loved this! Can you now rewrite Multiverse of Madness, Quantumania, and She-Hulk?
This movie would have been perfect to bring the franchise back to the seriousness of the first 2 movies

Valkyrie needs an arc! She was so good but just not used for the last third of the movie.
Maybe add a scene in the short montage when Jane disintegrates because I don’t know if Jane got caught in Thanos’ snap or not.
It’s strongly implied that she was.

yeah, just play them straight and don't have them scream in every scene, if it's funny let the audience judge if it truly is funny without being soo obvious

I didn’t watch the trailer so I could enjoy the movie because I thought it would be about Bro Thor teaming up with the guardians of the galaxy

I hate when ppl say IW Thor as if he wasn't the same in Ragnarok. 💀 The only difference is the amount of screen time he had.
@@TyronSpiveyBrown Not at all. IW Thor has a more dramatic arc than in Ragnarok (drama in that film is practically non-existent), and his humor is more subtle and less exaggerated too. Far superior

Thor in Ragnarok was only perceived to be more humourous than IW Thor because he had more screen time and IW Thor was in situations that didn't call for said humor other than the moments in the movie that were added in at good times. It's a really stupid comparison.

I know I’m late to the discussion but if I were to change some things from Thor 4 it would be this.
• Forget Gorr make The Mangog the main villain ( Thor 3 mentions Asgards past conquests so it fits well with the mangogs origin and kinda continues the sins of the father theme that was sort of set up in Thor 3 )
• Jane sacrifices herself to defeat the mangog just like in the comics ( much more meaningful death than what we actually got. Also would add the title of love and thunder a different meaning by having Jane defeat the mangog with “love” against its hatred for Asgard)
• The Guardians should have a somewhat decent role in the movie but not be the main focus ( Have Thor be with the guardians and receive an S.O.S from a distant planet It’s the mangog destroying a civilization) They do their best against the mangog but they are no match for it and they are put out of commission. Thor puts up a good fight and even overwhelms the mangog for a bit but it’s not enough.
• I’d like to think of the mangogs role as almost doomsday like with its whole purpose to inflict as much pain as it possible, its whole drive is rage, anger and hatred for what Asgard had done in the past
• Alot that the original movie offers can be avoided with these changes. I think the whole aspect of Love vs Hate could’ve worked better than whatever we got. It’s been said that Thor 5 would be a darker tone and what perfect villain for it than Gorr ( It’s weird that we had two villains back to back that had similar powers)
Great story but I don't understand how Jane can have cancer and have Thor's amazing godly powers...That part makes no sense...
It makes more sense and is explained better in the comics. Janes was only “Thor” whenever she lifted Mjolnir, when not lifting it she's just Jane again. But whenever she did lift Mjolnir it purged all toxins from her body to make her Godlike, which included the medication from her Chemotherapy causing the cancer to spread throughout her body, and every time she became Jane again she grew weaker and sicker until her body just couldn't handle becoming Thor anymore and doing so killed her.
@@saphiramystique2086 in my opinion the comic is still kinda stupid, it's good don't misunderstand me, but the comic made jane seem pointlessly stubborn as she could have taken the time to get her cancer fixed (pretty sure it could have been fixed in asguard) instead of being on a constant ticking clock as thor, she could have healed and continued to help people pretty much forever, again i like the story but it felt less like dramatic stakes and more jane being a doofus
it's been a while since i have read the comic though so i might have gotten some details crossed, maybe asguard couldn't fix the cancer

@@SonicProdigy55 Personally i got to say for me thor's evolution in love and thunder is justified in my opinion. I think that the fact that he is a bumbling fool comes from his ego of comparing himself with the guardians, because when he is with the avengers then his powers are pretty much matched with the ones of his peers for the most, but since all the guardians are shit when it comes to powers, then i think it's not too far to believe that his ego of thinking he is the best growed more and more with every mission since endgame. But yeah that's just a theory. Also, what i adore from thor love and thunder is exactly that the low stakes road trip aspect of it. it is one of the rare marvel movies that goes completely off it genre, that is comedy, which is normally low stakes movies. I also adore the lessons of love in the movie, it is so rare to see superhero movies go in that territory i found it bold. Well that's my argument for love and thunder, i rest my case still love ur opinions tho😂😂

1 thing I didn't like about the original movie is that Jane went to Valhalla at the end, she died to disease, therefore SHOULD have gone to Helheim, I understand why they did this, but it just makes no sense to me.
Cut out Lady Thor and replace her with Beta Ray Bill. Ragnarok and infinity war proved that you don't need Jane Foster to make Thor a compelling character , also Natalie Portman doesn't care for these movies anyway.
Give Beta Ray Bill his arc of needing to save his people but being unable to cast aside his pride and arrogance, like Thor in his first movie. Have Thor mentor him so that we can see how far he has come since Thor 1.
