It was kinda funny the way it was phrased bc what DOES an award do for one’s mental health and emotional wellbeing? If it does something to that, I’d be worried for the person lol I mean it’s just an honor. If he had asked what it does in general it would’ve been more reasonable to me but she answered divinely per usual with a really in depth real answer
Now let's cast her as a lawyer, cop, doctor, judge, even a villain. Give her a Marvel movie or TV show, one of those Nicole Kidman-Kate Winslet type miniseries, and last but not least, a rom-com. She's so deserving of it all.

Da’vine has such divine wisdom. That first question was wild lol it was kinda funny the way it was phrased bc what DOES an award do for one’s mental health and emotional wellbeing? If he had asked what it does in general it would’ve been more reasonable to me but she answered divinely per usual with a really real, in depth inspiring answer. “You’d b selling yourself short if you make it about the awards.” Her speech before AND during the award made me cry. It was really touching. Her presence in Hollywood is important; even though she said growing up she didn’t see anyone like her at the Oscars, a child will see themselves in her now. And in so many other of the deserving diverse talented faces at the ceremony. Her performance was steeped in empathy and she was deserving. Congratulations to her.

She was incredible in her nominated movie 😊And she was also in Only Murders in the Building on Hulu. It’s a murder mystery show with Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin. Meryl Streep was on the show too. Definitely go check her out she is going to do great things 🏆
