EQD Japan All-Stars - Reincarnation Rose Session | EarthQuaker Devices

The extraordinary collaboration between EarthQuaker Devices and Japanese heavy experimentalists Boris, celebrating their 30th anniversary, has birthed another unique edition of EarthQuaker Sessions.
This one-song missive features The Japanese All-Stars formed from the Boris Musical Universe.
The badass superquartet is led by Wata, Boris' guitar sorceress, vocalist, Hizumitas Fuzz Sustainar co-conspirator, with fellow guitarist and vocalist suGar Yoshinaga (Buffalo Daughter, Metalchicks, Halo Orbit). The BorisHeavyRockin' engine is powered by the rhythmic thrust of veteran bassist Tokie (Losalios, AJICO) and drummer Yuka Yoshimura (Metalchicks, DMBQ, OOIOO).
The all-star group rips through Reincarnation Rose with suGar and Tokie reprising their respective roles from the studio recording. Wielding matching black Les Paul Customs, the guitarists dig into the song's riff and trade solos. Using her wah-pedal with the Hizumitas Fuzz Sustainar, Wata wails away above the octave, while suGar gets gritty with a dash of heavy blues over the relentless groove of the MC5 inspired song.
It's a four and a half minutes dose of pure Rock n' Roll, so let it bleed into your ears and fill your head and heart.
