I just realized that it’s called “Strong one” as a reference to how Claus tells flint in chapter 1 that “I’m gonna get so strong that not even dragos will stand a change against me!”
From reading your comment, I just realised that Claus is an anagram for Lucas. This might be common knowledge but I played Mother 3 naming the characters as my family members

Jokes aside about the time signature, there's something brilliant about how this theme is reserved for the Masked Man. At this point you're already familiar with the theme "Strong One", maybe you've even done your own 16-hit combo on it. Then you try to do it again on this one, and _something_ throws you off mid-combo. This _should_ be the same song, but it isn't. And this thing in front of you _looks_ human but there's something so very wrong about it, so disturbing, so uncanny. You try putting him to sleep to see where you went wrong... and there's nothing. No heartbeat to memorize.
The funny thing is that since the heartbeat is re-used from the regular strong one song, you just need to remember the beat from that one and ignore this version of the song and you will be fine
No heartbeat to memorize? That's where you're wrong. On my channel, I have a video showing off the heartbeat of every single battle song. That includes this one. It exists in the game's code even if you can't do it normally.
